Lewis Hamilton is a world famous Formula 1 driver since his debut. He is a seven-time champion and most successful F1 driver. Hamilton races for Scuderia Ferrari in F1 since the 2025 season. However, Hamilton’s endeavours are not limited to Formula 1.

The Briton is a man of many commitments. His latest investment is the official Formula 1 movie. Hamilton is a producer of the F1 movie and spent considerable amount of capital into it’s making. Lewis Hamilton is having shaky year in 2025 with his new team. The Ferrari star has not revealed if he will retire from F1 soon.

But, in a recent interview, Lewis Hamilton spoke about his ambitions for the future. He also spoke about the path he wishes to follow after his F1 career.

Lewis Hamilton Wants to Join Film Making

Lewis Hamilton and fellow drivers attended a private screening for “F1: The Movie”. Hamilton was happy to see his name on screen. It seems that movie making has charmed the F1 driver to a great extent. He spoke up in front of the media about future projects.

Hamilton is currently working on three scripts. His first movie is yet to hit the theaters. But, the positive response of drivers and his own passion for movie-making takes him a step further.

According to Lewis,

“I’m going to write them with a writer because I’ve never written a movie before. But I’ve got these concepts and these ideas that I’ve come up with for movies. I think two of them will be animations and one of them is already in a phase of the first part of the script already, so it’s exciting.”

Drivers Reaction to F1 Movie Premiere

The biggest critics of movie are drivers. They are the ones this new movie is based on. Although, the F1 Movie was fun for all present drivers. Charles Leclerc, Esteban Ocon and others were full of praise for the immersion and new outlook.

Lando Norris also joked about his performance in the movie. Team principals like Christian Horner and James Vowles also gave the movie their approval.

F1 CEO, Stephano Domenicalli was incredibly impressed with the new F1 Movie.

“But I really want to thank everyone in our ecosystem because it was a hard production and it’s the first time there is such an incredible integration between a movie and the real action on the track. I think the result is amazing. I love that, I love the story, I love the music, I love the rhythm, so I can’t wait to see the result and the reaction of the crowd.”

Why was Max Verstappen Not Present at The F1 Premiere?

Max Verstappen was the only driver who chose to skip the F1 movie. His absence was a cause of many rumors. But the Dutchman was not racing or setting another record lap with an alias. He was spending time at home with family.

“I just wanted to spend more time at home. When you’re away from home so often, it only seems normal to want to spend all the time you have at home”.

Max Verstappen also became a father recently so it is obvious that the Dutchman would choose family first.
