While Isack Hadjar is becoming a sensation among the fans and Formula 1 community, a potential offer at Red Bull Racing might open up for him.
Isack Hadjar is one of the best rookies in the 2025 Formula 1 grid. From the very first race, Hadjar has been a surprisingly consistent driver for the Racing Bulls. Isack Hadjar is going through an amazing debut season. His performance in the sister team is making him a top contender for claiming a seat at Red Bull Racing.
In his first season, Isack Hadjar is currently 13th in the driver standings as of August 2025. He has already accumulated 21 points in 14 races. Additionally, Hadjar also had a best finish of P6 during the race and P5 during qualifying. After Kimi Antonelli, Isack is among the brightest prospects this season. Furthermore, he is displaying impeccable consistency. His first and only DNF came during the Australian Grand Prix. Since then, Hadjar has always managed to finish his race.
The Red Bull Racing seat is a controversial topic in the sport of Formula 1. For three years, the team has been unable to find a suitable driver alongside Max Verstappen. This year, they tried to use Yuki Tsunoda as the second driver. However, even Tsunoda is not able to live up to their expectations.
With the way things are proceeding, there are chances that Yuki will end up losing his Red Bull Racing seat. As such, Isack is going to be the primary choice for promoting to Red Bull Racing. Although, F1 experts have been against this move for a long time.
Isack Hadjar is pragmatic about his chances of joining Red Bull next season, conceding he needs to cut out his mistakes.https://t.co/O0RJwaQIqR

After the Hungary Grand Prix, Hadjar was asked about a potential role at Red Bull Racing. His reply was rather calculative and stern-
“When I can be on top of it and not making any mistakes, then yeah, I can think. I’m dreaming of scoring in the points.”
Isack Hadjar may or may not have been influenced by the unstable situation going on at Red Bull Racing. After all, Hadjar is partnering with Liam Lawson. To recap- Liam Lawson was kicked out of Red Bull Racing merely two races in the season.
The New Zealand driver lost a lot of confidence owing to their move. Additionally, Red Bull also got rid of their longtime CEO and championship winning team principal, Christian Horner. It would be the best for Hadjar to stay at Racing Bulls and hone his craft before he cant take up the pressure of Red Bull Racing.
nhl I work as a Writer at The Playoffs specialising in NHL, Formula 1 and Motorsports. I got into online journalism a couple of years ago. I used to be an intern for a website managing their Formula 1 content and then I served an entire year as a contractual writer.
Read moreFor me, online journalism was not something I expected. I am a Mechanical Engineer aiming to join Formula 1. At the same time, I am a poet, writer and my university’s Literary Club Lead. One day the dots connected together and I realised I could use my writing skills to convey my passion for Motorsports.
The biggest aspects I love about my role are- Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. When I am not fawning over them I like to convey my opinions to the public, in a manner which helps them gain a new point of view. I love helping people explore new ideas about Motorsports and obviously get recognised as a writer all over the world.
Message to Readers: I promise you one day you’ll see me managing operations on track with a Formula 1 team ; )
