Nico Rosberg doesn't want to Isack Hadjar to join Red Bull Racing
Nico Rosberg is bringing crucial career advice for Racing Bulls Rookie Isack Hadjar. Isack Hadjar has been performing far better than his peers in the Racing Bulls. He is single-handedly defeating his teammate and Yuki Tsunoda in the other Red Bull seat. Hadjar’s performance is already putting him in a favorable position for promotion.
Isack Hadjar has been a consistent driver in the 2025 Formula 1 season. He has multiple top-10 finishes and Q3 performances as of the Spanish Grand Prix. Compared to him, Liam Lawson had only scored points once and has not out qualified Hadjar yet. There are many talks about Isack Hadjar’s Red Bull promotion. Red Bull in particular have promised Yuki Tsunoda to keep him for 2025. Hadjar himself was quite confident about joining Max Verstappen. Although, Nico Rosberg has come forward to warn Hadjar about the repercussions.
Formula 1 analysts at Sky F1 took up the topic of the second Red Bull seat. They pointed out the fact that Max Verstappen is currently dominating in Red Bull Racing. It is also a fact that team can’t let go of the four-time champion. Karun Chandhok, Nico Rosberg and David Croft sat together discussing the possibilities at Red Bull.
They were comparing situation with Benetton and Michael Schumacher. Benetton’s team was incredibly inclined towards Max Verstappen. When Schumacher left the team after two consecutive world titles, Benetton could only secure one win in the coming years.

Isack Hadjar’s performance was raised by the F1 experts. But for him they only had one simple advice-
“If I was Hadjar, if ever the team started to mention, I would literally decline, decline as hard as you possibly can. He’s doing such a great job with Racing Bulls. He’s in a great position. Just flat decline and say, ‘no way!’.”
Christian Horner himself praised the Racing Bulls roomie calling him the best performing rookie. Although, the curse of the second Red Bull seat is too much for a promising driver like Hadjar. F1 experts’ suggestion for Hadjar is to improve his pace and get better results in the Racing Bulls. Thereafter, they want him to try to join Aston Martin F1 or Ferrari.
I work as a Writer at The Playoffs specialising in Formula 1 and Motorsports. I got into online journalism a couple of years ago. I used to be an intern for a website managing their Formula 1 content and then I served an entire year as a contractual writer.
Read moreFor me, online journalism was not something I expected. I am a Mechanical Engineer aiming to join Formula 1. At the same time, I am a poet, writer and my university's Literary Club Lead. One day the dots connected together and I realised I could use my writing skills to convey my passion for Motorsports.
The biggest aspects I love about my role are- Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. When I am not fawning over them I like to convey my opinions to the public, in a manner which helps them gain a new point of view. I love helping people explore new ideas about Motorsports and obviously get recognised as a writer all over the world.
