Dabble Review

Craig Simpkin

With one million active users worldwide, Dabble is one of the largest providers of daily fantasy sports.

They have paid out more than $25 million on their ‘pick ‘em’ contests, which are available to players in 29 different states (at the time of writing). Prizes of up to 1,000x can be won.

In this Dabble review, we’ll take a deep dive to see if this operator can compete with other DFS giants like DraftKings, FanDuel, and Underdog.

Dabble USA Review | Social Wagering Features

Although Dabble doesn’t have as many different contest types as the other top DFS sites, the ‘pick ‘em’ style that they favor is becoming increasingly popular with American players.

Dabble is a social daily fantasy site. Players can follow one another’s profile and picks, copy other peoples’ picks, and chat via the community lounge – a key feature not available with many other DFS providers.

Dabble Review: $25 No Deposit Bonus

Having been an active Dabble player for a while, the welcome offer that I claimed a few months ago was a $10 no deposit bonus.

However, while researching this Dabble review, I noted that this has since been increased to a no deposit bonus of $25 for players that register using our promo code.

If you want the exact steps and the latest sign-up offer details, you can find them on our dedicated dabble promo code page.

So, to claim the offer, simply:

  • Head to dabble.com or search ‘Dabble’ in the App Store or Google Play Store
  • Tap the download link
  • Click ‘join’ and complete the sign-up form on screen
  • Enter our promo code in the box provided

You’ll then be handed $25 in bonus funds to use on your chosen contests.

Dabble Review: $25 No Deposit Bonus

On a side note, players can also claim a $10 reward for every player that they refer to Dabble that goes on to make a deposit.

Dabble Review of the No Deposit Bonus

Any no deposit bonus is to be applauded, and Dabble’s is a generous way for new players to experience the unique contests that are offered at the platform.

You can use the bonus on any sport and contest, which will provide you with a number of chances to build your bankroll.

The wagering requirements are low at 1x, which means you’ll have to wager $25 before you can withdraw any winnings generated from the bonus – you have 14 days to do so.

Not many daily fantasy operators offer a no deposit bonus, so this Dabble offer should be cherished.

Dabble Review: Exciting Pick ‘em Contests

Although other DFS providers offer a wider range of contest styles, I personally really enjoyed the ‘pick ‘em’ style and payout structure of Dabble.

You can make between two and 12 picks on your ticket, with your payout reflected by the number of selections you make – the higher the number, the more you can win. Of course, all of your picks have to be successful for your ticket to be a winner.

Dabble Review: Exciting Pick ‘em Contests

For example, let’s imagine we’re looking at the next slate of NBA games. We can pick between two or 12 players in a range of stat categories, including points, rebounds, and assists.

Because Dabble’s NBA pick’em format feels closer to player-prop betting than traditional DFS, it’s worth comparing it with other best betting NBA websites to see which style and odds structure fit you best.

We’re given a line, and simply have to decide whether the player will have ‘more’ or ‘less’ that the line provided:

  • Nikola Jokic (32.5 points) – more or less?
  • Luka Doncic (29.5 points) – more or less?
  • Kyrie Irving (6.5 assists) – more or less?
  • Victor Wembanyama (12.5 rebounds) – more or less?

Players build their lineups accordingly. At the time of writing, this was the multiplier payout structure when making correct picks:

Two Picks3x
Three Picks6x
Four Picks10x
Five Picks20x
Six Picks35x
Seven Picks60x
Eight Picks100x
Nine Picks175x
Ten Picks300x
Eleven Picks500x
Twelve Picks1,000x

It should be noted that the maximum payout at Dabble is capped at $50,000.

The bet type mentioned above is ‘All In’, while the Hedge option allows you to get one or two picks wrong – depending on how many selections are on your ticket – and still profit, albeit at a lower payscale.

Dabble Review: Great Range of Sports

Basketball is just one of the sports catered for by the operator.

When researching this Dabble review, I found that football, baseball, and hockey were also well represented, as were soccer, MMA, and golf.

In some states, players can also access contests for college football and basketball, too.

Dabble Mobile & Platform Notes

Here’s an important thing to note: Dabble is an app-only daily fantasy platform.

They do have a website, but this is more of an information portal that passes players onto the relevant app stores. You must then download the Dabble app from either the App Store or Google Play Store.

You have to have an internet connection to use the Dabble app, as it’s not compatible with offline play.

My Experience Using the Dabble App

No Dabble review would be complete without an analysis of their app; after all, this is the only way to access the operator on your chosen devices.

Experience Using the Dabble App

This may be a frustration for some players, who use a laptop or desktop computer, but just note that these apps are fast, secure, convenient, and highly rated by users.

In testing, I downloaded both the Android and iOS versions to different devices. And I was impressed with the app in both cases, which worked smoothly – it’s so seamless switching from one page to the next, and my account was live in just a matter of moments.

You can add selections to your ticket with just one tap, while secure payments are available easily via the cashier function.

Dabble Android App Review

The Dabble Android app scores 3.9/5 in the Google Play Store, but I thought that was quite harsh.

In my opinion, the app is better than that, with quick page loading and intuitive menus for finding the sports and contests I wanted to play.

Building contest entries was so simple, and I could easily access the app’s social features, like live streams, the community lounge, and the ‘copy picks’ function.

Download is easy via the Google Play Store, and the file size is less than 100 MB… that was handy for me as my phone is cluttered with photos and videos!

Dabble iOS App Review

The Dabble iOS app has the exact same build and layout as the Android version.

The iOS app scores 4.7/5, and this is more in line with my own Dabble review of this application, which features the same super-smooth interface and feel as the Android app.

All of the same features are included, alongside the chance to claim that $25 no deposit bonus – simply by filling in the on-screen form after hitting the ‘join’ button. I managed to download the app from Apple’s Play Store and register an account inside five minutes.

Dabble Social Features and Community

Dabble prides itself on its huge social community of players.

You can feel that as soon as you download the app, with several features designed to help you connect with fellow players. You can follow other users, like you would on a social media platform, and then all of their activity will appear in real-time on your feed.

The Copy Bet feature allows you to copy the entries of other players with a single click; perfect if you are tailing someone who really knows their sport.

The busy community allows you to drop in and chat with your fellow players around the clock; whether that’s just for pick-based banter, or for some semi-serious analysis of your favorite sports.

I can’t think of any other DFS or sportsbook app that has this level of social connectivity, and I still follow some shrewd judges and copy their picks even now.

Is Dabble Legal? License & Security Information

Daily fantasy sports is regulated at state level in the U.S, as opposed to by the federal government.

So, you can rest assured that Dabble is legal and licensed to operate in the 29 states it is currently live in.

Customer data is secured with SSL encryption, while Dabble’s comprehensive responsible gambling tools include deposit limits, cooling off periods (known as ‘take a break’ on the app), and permanent self-exclusion.

Current U.S. state availability:

Legal StatesAK, AR, CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, ME, MN, NE, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI, WY

Dabble Review: Limited Customer Support

Like many betting sites, Dabble pushes players to peruse its help center pages – rather than offering direct links to their customer support team.

But you can bypass that by utilizing the live chat bot, which is able to answer the most generic account questions. If you don’t get the answer you need here, you will eventually be passed onto a human operator – although this service is typically only available in daytime hours.

For this Dabble review, I also tested the email service at support@dabble.com. My questions were responded to in around one hour, which is better than average for most DFS sites.

However, emails sent outside of daytime hours will probably take longer to get a response, as support is not available 24/7.

Dabble Review of Payments: Quick and Easy Deposits & Withdrawals

Although I personally prefer to use PayPal when depositing and withdrawing from DFS sites, I still had plenty of options to pivot to nonetheless.

Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and bank transfer are the deposit options, which covers probably about 99.9% of players in the United States – my Visa deposit was actioned immediately, so I could begin making picks right away after I had completed the verification checks.

To complete the verification, I uploaded a photo copy of my driving licence within the app, as well as a selfie to prove that I am who I say I am!

Another interesting point here is that the minimum deposit is just $5, rather than the standard $10, so you can try out Dabble for less of an initial outlay.

In my testing, my withdrawal request – it’s bank transfer only, at the time of writing – was processed inside an hour, and took around 48 hours to then hit my bank account.

Interestingly, after a handful of payments have been completed in your account, you should qualify for ‘fast withdrawals’ – this cuts the waiting time to less than 12 hours.

On another positive note, no fees are charged by Dabble for either deposits or withdrawals, while all payment data is encrypted during transactions to prevent against hacking.

Dabble Pros & Cons

  • Generous welcome bonus
  • Huge range of sports and contest types
  • Fantastic community features
  • App only
  • Wins capped at $50,000

Why Choose Dabble?

There are other daily fantasy sports providers with more contest types and bigger potential prizes, but Dabble specializes in one thing: simplicity.

  • App available for both iOS and Android devices
  • Quick and easy to download and register
  • Popular ‘pick ‘em’ contests across a range of sports
  • $25 no deposit sign up bonus

If you’re weighing Dabble against bigger DFS brands, our fanduel review breaks down how FanDuel’s contests, pricing, and overall user experience compare to newer social-first apps like this one.

If I was being honest, I would prefer a web browser version too as I tend to do my betting research on my computer, but that’s just me nit-picking.

Why Choose Dabble?

I surprised myself by really leaning into the community features too. I actually shadowed other players’ picks and engaged in conversations about football and basketball in the lounge, which enhanced my enjoyment of the app.

With $25 available as a no deposit bonus today, I’ll sign off on my Dabble review by stating that this is as good a time as any to join this excellent DFS provider.
