“Stone Cold” Steve Austin finally made his appearance on “The Grandest Stage of them All” at WrestleMania 41 Night 2 on April 20, 2025. The Texas Rattlesnake drove down the entrance lap in an ATV and intended to do laps around the ring. Unfortunately, the ATV crashed into the barricade between the wrestlers and the fans.

Stone Cold Shared His Uncomfort in Driving An ATV, Leading to the Crash

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin appeared at The Ariel Helwani Show on April 30, 2025. He talked about his different issues, one of which was his ATV crash at WrestleMania (WWE on YouTube)-.

Ariel Helwani asked him what led to such a crash. The Texas Rattlesnake responded (via The Ariel Helwani Show on YouTube)-

“Oh, just different throttle system setup than what I’m normally used to. And uh long story short, just different throttle system because I’m, I’m pretty damn handy on a four-wheeler.”

Notably, this almost caused him to crash into one of the fans closest to the barricade. He entered the ring after consoling the fan and again consoled the fan before leaving. When asked about the aftermath, the WWE Hall of Famer replied that it was very embarrassing for him and hoped that everyone was okay. That thing happening on one of the greatest nights of the year was not a good day at office according to him. He also revealed that it is not really great when someone goes out to the ring to give the best show to the fans but then falls short of that.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin is notable for having some of the best matches in WrestleManias during his career as a pro wrestler. One such WrestleMania matches was against Bret “The Hitman” Hart at WrestleMania 13 on March 23, 1997. Apart from this, his other notable opponents at WrestleMania include Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 14 on March 29, 1998). He also faced The Rock twice (WrestleMania 17 on April 2001 and again at WrestleMania 19 on March 30, 2003). These matches were pure gold in terms of set-up and storytelling.

Notably, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s WrestleMania 13 match against Bret Hart got him the very first WWE Inaugural Moment Award in 2025. His WrestleMania 13 opponent Bret Hart also received the award in 2025.
