In the clash of generations, Charlotte Flair faced off against Lash Legend on Friday Night SmackDown. The Queen proved herself to be a superior force and defeated Lash Legend to get Alexa Bliss’ revenge. Lash Legend pulled off the biggest upset of her career when she defeated Alexa Bliss, and was riding high on the confidence, but it was always going to be an uphill task to beat the 15-time champion in sqaured ring.
The match started with Lash Legend’s sheer display of power as she dominated Charlotte Flair. It seemed Charlotte Flair was out of answers against her for most of the match. Lash Legend was able to counter Charlotte Flair’s moves with her power game. It was “The Legend Show” for the first half of the match. A Pop-Up Power Bomb followed by a series of aggressive assaults left the former champion reeling.

Charlotte Flair tapped into her veteran instinct and tried to reverse the tide and steal the momentum. She reversed the Lash Extension into a DDT and followed it up with signature Flair Chops. The Grand Rapids crowd was behind Charlotte as “Woo” chants echoed around the arena. The Queen then delivered a Moonsault from the third rope, but all this assault was not enough to keep Lash Legend down.
The match took a chaotic turn when Nia Jax caused an intervention. Charlotte Flair was prepared to put Lash Legend into a Figure Eight, but Nia Jax jumped onto the apron to cause a distraction. Her action backfired as Charlotte Flair’s partner, Alexa Bliss, jumped over Nia Jax. This distracted Lash Legend, and Charlotte Flair got the opening she needed.
Charlotte Flair rolled Lash Legend with a perfectly executed Sunset Flip and secured a pinfall victory over her opponent in 11-minutes. While Charlotte Flair won the match, Lash Legend made sure to push her to her absolute limit. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will now team up with Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley to go against Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and The Kabuki Warrior in an 8-woman tag team match next week.
