Bron Breakker Unchains The Beast, Destroys CM Punk Verbally & Physically on Back-to-Back Monday Night Raw

Ashish Negi

Monday Night Raw has been a real hell for the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, ever since he became the champion. While the holiday season brings celebration, Bron Breakker made sure that CM Punk celebrates holidays with aching ribs. This is the second consecutive week where WWE Raw ended with Bron Breakker spearing CM Punk.

Bron Breakker sends a clear message that CM Punk is living on borrowed time. CM Punk will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on January 5, 2026, at the Netflix premiere anniversary.

Psychological Warfare Turns Into Physical Attack

The verbal and physical spat between CM Punk and Bron Breakker has been going on for weeks, and another chapter was added to it on WWE Raw tonight. Bron Breakker called CM Punk a “self-centered piece of trash.” Mocking CM Punk’s legacy, Bron Breakker claimed that Second City Saint never cared about his wife and only cared about himself.

Bron Breakker reminded CM Punk that he wants the hungry, dangerous “Best in the World” from 2011 instead of a respected locker room leader. He then claimed that the result of the match would be the same whether it’s the 2011 CM Punk or the 2025 CM Punk, and that is him losing his title. Breakker has been dismantling CM Punk bit-by-bit for weeks now.

The true message was, however, delivered in the closing moments of Monday Night Raw. The chaotic main event ended when Austin Theory and Bronson Reed defeated the team of CM Punk and Rey Mysterio, and while it put an end to Rey Mysterio’s misery, it was not the case with CM Punk, who was floored again with a vicious spear. This attack again shifts the momentum towards Bron Breakker.
