WWE RAW releases ‘Promo of the Year’ featuring Seth Rollins and CM Punk!

CM Punk and Seth Rollins are just a few days away from the match of their lives!

CM Punk might have resolved his dispute with Roman Reigns but what started as a dispute between Seth Rollins and CM Punk has now turned into a fight of the ages. They have been in the headlines for their rivalry, which started after CM Punk made his return for the Survivor Series: WarGames. Both these superstars have been launching verbal and physical assaults on one another and none of them wants to back off.

Fueled by their hatred towards one another, both claim they are the best and reason for WWE‘s success. Their rivalry intensifies after each promo they both are part of. One such promo happened on the Last RAW episode of the year and on the USA network, now called the promo of the year.

Seth Rollins and CM Punk were at each other’s firing line.

Seth Rollins acknowledged the crowd for the first time after his match with CM Punk was announced at RAW’s Netflix Kick-Off event. He started the promo by acknowledging the Houston crowd. He soon jumped to bashing Punk for leaving WWE for 10 years and defiling it in public during the time he was away from it.

Seth claimed that he would keep on fighting on Monday Night RAW irrespective of the result of his match with CM Punk at RAW’s Netflix Premiere but the same is not true for Punk. He said CM Punk would cry and whine about it if things didn’t go his way. He claimed that CM Punk might take another 10 years off, pick up his balls and Go home.

CM Punk’s music hit and he entered the ring. He called Seth’s line “Pick up his ball and Go Home” the most industry-planned cliche, bootlicker line that he has heard, and asked where Seth heard it from. CM Punk questioned whether Stone Cold “Steve Austin” took his balls and went home.

Where did it all go south between Punk and Rollins?

Punk took it one step further when he involved Becky Lynch in the argument. He stated he hadn’t seen “The Man” fighting in the ring for long.

CM Punk continued and said that he never abandoned the fans but Seth was crying because CM Punk abandoned him. CM Punk claimed that he doesn’t regret his decision to leave WWE 10 years ago. He is here to make money and not friends.

Seth didn’t hold back and said that the difference between CM Punk and others is that Steve Austin did leave. His wife Becky Lynch was away raising kids, one thing that CM Punk no nothing about.

He continued that when CM Punk left, he wanted WWE to die, and talked smack about the place. He even joined the rival company for more money. Seth refused to share the success of WWE with Punk because Seth claimed he earned it and Punk was just here to take credit.

Punk replied that he loved the place he worked at but didn’t like the master which is why he left WWE. He claimed that Seth wouldn’t be in WWE without CM Punk and That Seth was a Teacher’s Pet. He mocked Seth that the first thing Seth did after CM Punk left was to Stab Roman in the back. He claimed that Seth was playing the victim in the Situation he created.

CM Punk said that people kept chanting my name during Seth Rollins matches and Seth is mad because Punk is back now.

Seth said the Pioneer “CM Punk” has become a cancer to the business, to the locker room, and to Seth’s brain. The cancer won’t cure itself but it needs to be cut out. Things have been heated up enough with just a few days remaining for their match at the Mega Event. We are in for one of the most brutal matches in WWE history.
