Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer Wants to keep his new talent in the team until 2026
Isack Hadjar was the first driver among the rookies it crash out. His first race was a disaster making him a target for criticism. However, ever since his first mistake, Isack Hadjar has been driving superbly on every track F1 visits. Isack Hadjar is already ahead of Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda.
Courtesy of Hadjar, the Racing Bulls are able to compete in the middle field against much faster cars. His talent and consistency are on a level that Red Bull Racing is starting to notice him more. Helmut Marko himself is surprised by Hadjar’s performance at every track. However, with the second seat woes still affecting Yuki Tsunoda, all signs point towards another promotion for Hadjar. Isack Hadjar might become the next experiment to find a partner good enough for Max Verstappen at Red Bull Racing.
In the previous year, Liam Lawson was the super rookie at Racing Bulls. He performed considerably well at the Red Bull junior team. However, he was promoted to Red Bull Racing before he could complete a full season. Even Red Bull accept that this decision backfired. Liam Lawson is demoted back to his original team but he is a long way from displaying any sort of race pace.
Isack Hadjar’s promotion to Red Bull Racing another risky decision. The way Red Bull Racing is switching drivers is alarming. Yuki Tsunoda, a great driver for Racing Bulls, is nowhere close to his peak performance in the Red Bull second seat.
Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer has quipped that he will "handcuff" Isack Hadjar to stop Red Bull signing himhttps://t.co/VDiKT0k414 pic.twitter.com/TKnDaNg8t5

On the cusp of promotion rumors for Hadjar, Peter Bayer had a message for Red Bull Racing-
“For heaven’s sake, don’t take this talent away from us too soon. He should get to know the whole business by the end of 2026. Until then, we’ll just have to handcuff him!”
Racing Bulls have the unique misfortune to work with Red Bull Racing as their sister team. They have been the proving grounds and experimental lab for Red Bull Racing’s junior drivers. It’s partly one of major factors affecting Racing Bulls performance. There is hardly one season that the Faenza based team has ever claimed without interference of Red Bull Racing.
I work as a Writer at The Playoffs specialising in Formula 1 and Motorsports. I got into online journalism a couple of years ago. I used to be an intern for a website managing their Formula 1 content and then I served an entire year as a contractual writer.
Read moreFor me, online journalism was not something I expected. I am a Mechanical Engineer aiming to join Formula 1. At the same time, I am a poet, writer and my university's Literary Club Lead. One day the dots connected together and I realised I could use my writing skills to convey my passion for Motorsports.
The biggest aspects I love about my role are- Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. When I am not fawning over them I like to convey my opinions to the public, in a manner which helps them gain a new point of view. I love helping people explore new ideas about Motorsports and obviously get recognised as a writer all over the world.
