The Los Angeles Rams, talent wise, looks like they have all the pieces in place to make a run for the Super Bowl next season. They have a lot of talent and are lead by an extremely reliable head coach in Sean McVay, and one of the top and proven quarterbacks in Matthew Stafford. They have also added WR Davante Adams into the rotation, after trading away 2021 Super Bowl MVP winner Cooper Kupp to the Seattle Seahawks, and have certainly boosted their offensive firepower.
The Rams went 10-7 last season and won the NFC West division. They went on to defeat the Minnesota Vikings in the wildcard round and faced the 2025 Super Bowl champs, the Philadelphia Eagles, in the divisional round of the playoffs. It was an extremely close game and by the end of the third quarter, the Eagles were leading only by a single point.
However, the Eagles outscored the Rams 12-7 in the fourth quarter, which cost them the game and the final score was 28-22. In the entire playoffs last season, the only team that gave the Eagles a run for their money was the L.A Rams, and that is why we believe the Rams may be able to take down the Eagles next season and possibly win another Super Bowl trophy.

Recently Rams’ star receiver revealed when he wants to hang up his jersey and call it a career, despite being extremely young. Let’s see who that is.
Puka Nacua recently revealed that he wants to retire by the age of 30 precisely. Nacua went to Join The Lobby Podcast and he was asked about what does he plan to do after retirement, and when does one know when to retire, Nacua replied,
“I wanna retire at the age of 30. I’m 23 right now going into year 3. I think of Aaron Donald. To go out at the top, I think it would be super cool. But then also, I want to have a big family… I want to be a big part of their lives and be as active as I can with them.”
Nacua has only played in the NFL for two seasons so far and is going into year 3. He had somewhat of a down year compared to his rookie season where he had 1486 receiving yards, 105 receptions, and 6 receiving touchdowns, while playing in 17 games. Last season, he played in 11 games and had 990 receiving yards, 3 receiving touchdowns, and 79 receptions. He missed six games due to a knee injury in the 2024 regular season and he already knows that if injuries are to frequently happen to him, that could derail his career, meaning teams not willing to give max contracts, and ultimately staining his plans to retire as early as 30!

Aaron Donald, in his 10 year NFL career, rarely missed any games, and produced at an extremely high level. He won the Super Bowl trophy with the Rams in 2021, was named to the Pro Bowl every single season, was named All-Pro first team 8 times in his career, and won the DPOY award 3 times. He has one of the best resumes we have ever seen for an NFL player, and even though he retired early, he had already accomplished almost every single thing he wanted to in the NFL. So retiring at the age of 32 worked for him but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll work for everyone else. Donald was one of a kind and not everybody can be that dominant.

Only time will tell what Nacua can accomplish in his NFL career and if he plans to retire at the age of 30, that means that he only has 7 more years to go as he’s already 23 years of age. If he can stay clear of injuries, sky is the limit for the wideout.
