The World Cup 2026 is getting closer and the competition is getting intense for the teams to confirm their place in the finals. Some teams have already confirmed their places, like Argentina, Brazil, Japan, and more. UEFA nations are yet to confirm their places.

The nations are gearing up for their two games each in October. There will be a lot of big nations who will play international friendlies. Teams, like England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and more will play friendlies as well as UEFA World Cup qualifiers games.

Which Team Have Already Qualified for the World Cup 2026?

A growing list of nations has already secured their places at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The tournament will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The co-hosts have automatically qualified. Then Argentina became the first South American team to book their spot, followed by Brazil, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, and Paraguay.

From Asia, Japan, Korea Republic, Iran, Australia, Uzbekistan, and debutants Jordan have sealed qualification. In Oceania, New Zealand won to earn their place. Meanwhile, Africa will be represented by Morocco and Tunisia so far with more nations to join soon. More qualifying matches will decide more nations to shape up the 48-team lineup.
