Learn all about which NFL legend has teased his possible appearance at WrestleMania 41

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is all geared up for their upcoming WWE WrestleMania 41 on April 19, 2025 and April 20, 2025. Considered to be “The Grandest Stage of then All”, the event started in 1985 and has been going on since then. WrestleMania events in WWE have always attracted several celebrities and athletes who are not from the pro wrestling scene.

However, one particular legend from the National Football League (NFL) has expressed his desire of making a possible appearance at the event. Notably, this is not new as several NFL stars in the past like those of George Kittle (San Francisco 49ers), Jason Kelce (Philadelphia Eagles) and Lane Johnson (Philadelphia Eagles) have appeared at WrestleMania. But which former athlete has declared his intention of possibly appearing at the event in 2025? Let’s see.

Which NFL legend teased about his WrestleMania 41 appearance?

It is none other than NFL legend Tom Brady who has teased about his potential appearance at WrestleMania 41 as per Wrestling Inc. He revealed (via Fox News),

“I may be there, But it’s amazing what’s going on there and it’s amazing what’s happening with WWE and all the different things surrounding that”.

(Tom Brady’s comment was posted by NFL on ESPN on their official Instagram account.)

Tom Brady has been one of the  all-time greats in National Football League (NFL). He has been a seven-time Super Bowl Champion throughout his career. Moreover, he is also known for twenty-season long career with the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2019 and won his first six Super Bowls with the team. The former also represented the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2020 to 2023 and earned his seventh and last Super Bowl with them in 2021. He eventually retired pro football career on February 1, 2023.

What are the two Main Event matches in WrestleMania 41?

WWE WrestleMania 41 will be having two main events for both April 19, 2025 and April 20, 2025. The main event for Night 1 on April 19, 2025 will feature Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins vs CM Punk in a triple-threat match. This match is already a setback for Roman Reigns as his “Wiseman” Paul Heyman will be managing CM Punk instead of him. Notably, CM Punk will be competing in the main event at WrestleMania for the first time in his career.

The main event for Night 2 on April 20, 2025 in WWE WrestleMania 41 will feature Cody Rhodes vs John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Notably, John Cena has gone back to being a heel after years of being the babyface. His intent is to beat Cody Rhodes and take the Undisputed WWE Championship from him and become a 17-time Champion in his last ever WrestleMania. He also wants to end Ric Flair’s record by doing so.

I’m a sports content writer focusing on MMA, WWE  and MLB writer at The Playoffs. I have a Master’s degree in Media Science (M.Sc) from my college The Heritage Academy. I got into the sports industry through my previous company where I worked from 2023 to March 2025. I’m a fan of combat sports like pro wrestling and MMA. My favorite  part about working at The Playoffs is speculating  what can be happening in WWE, especially face-heel turns and results of matches.
