John Cena has finally entered his WWE Retirement Tour in 2025. The ‘Cenation’ Leader has established himself as one of the all-time greats of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) since his debut in SmackDown on June 27, 2002 against Kurt Angle. Since then, he has achieved the WWE Championship 16 times in his career so far. Notably, he was originally a trash-talking rapper heel known as “The Doctor of Thuganomics” before he turned into the babyface, who also became the face of the company.

After being a part-timer for several years, John Cena made his appearance at the Royal Rumble in 2025 and at the Elimination Chamber. There, he shocked the world by going to the dark side for the first-time in several years and viciously attacking Cody Rhodes.

Presently a full heel and aligned with “The Final Boss” The Rock, John Cena will be facing off against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE WrestleMania 41, which is also his last. He intends to win the championship one last-time and become a 17-time champion and breaking Ric Flair’s record before calling it quits. Besides his pro wrestling career, John Cena is also notable for starring in several movies and TV shows like Peacemaker from DC, playing the character himself.

John Cena has stated that he intends to call quits to his in-ring career at WWE in 2025. During an interview with Steve Weintraub of Collider, he revealed that he has dedicated 2025 to be his WWE Farewell Tour year. He revealed that his WWE Farewell Tour will start in January 2025 and end in December 2025. He also revealed that he will be having around 36 dates as part of the Farewell Tour globally in 2025.

In many ways, this Farewell tour started that July night in London. Some of the loudest (and latest) nights on tour have been in Glasgow. I haven’t seen the beauty of Brussels in over a decade.

John Cena also revealed that he will be having around 36 dates as part of the Farewell Tour globally in 2025 to show his gratitude to his fans worldwide. However, he has not revealed the exact date of his retirement in December 2025 yet.

John Cena Retirement Tour Dates and Schedule

John Cena has officially announced that he will be working around 36 dates throughout 2025 before finally retiring as a pro wrestler in December 2025. However, according to Dave Meltzer of Wreslting Observer, John Cena’s Farewell Tour can include 35-40 dates as per Bloody Slam. His tour first started at Raw on Netflix premiere in January 2025 as per the WWE official site.
