WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Results: Gunther, Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan retains their title, Chelsea Green is the inaugural Women’s US Champ and more.

Cody, Gunther and Liv retained their titles and Chelsea Green became the first Women's United States Champion

Saturday Night Main Event was a houseful like the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGame. The Legendary Hall of Famers like Jesse Ventura, Tito Santana, and Jimmy Hart were present. Pat McAfee is back as a guest commentator. The crowd found their voice from the get-go. There were five matches with four titles on the line.

Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn was possessed since the very beginning of the match. He was able to dominate Scottish Psychopath for most of the match. Drew overpowered Sami in a few instances first when he threw Sami across the announce table. He then took him to the second rope to perform white noise on him which Sami countered with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb.

Sami was dominating again when Drew delivered a Glasgow Kiss. Sami then delivered a Bluethunder PowerBomb that made the crowd go, “This is Awesome.” Drew rolled out of the ring, and Sami followed him out. The Scottish Warrior saw Sami following entered the ring. Sami chased him inside the ring only to find himself in a trap and get claymored.

Result: Drew McIntyre pinned Sami and won the match.

Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan for the WWE World Championship

Iyo Sky was on Liv Morgan, the moment the match started. The Genius of Sky didn’t give Liv time to breathe with Suicide Dive, Missile Dropkick. Morgan took the lead with a backstabber, however, Iyo Sky performed three German suplexes to gain dominance.

This got the crowd going. They were behind Iyo Sky chanting “Let’s go Iyo”. She performed Enzuiguri on Liv which busted open her nose. Iyo followed it up with a bullet train attack. Iyo tried to finish the game with an Over the Moonsault. Liv countered by raising her leg. Liv ended the match with an Oblivion and retained her title.

Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship

Gunther, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor met for a Triple-Threat. It looked like Damian had his eyes locked up on the championship from the beginning. He dominated both Gunther and Finn Balor for most of the match showcasing his superhuman strength.

If it wasn’t for Finn Balor, Damian would have pinned Gunther after delivering South of Heaven Chokeslam. The match saw the moments of dominance from Finn Balor when he delivered a sling blade to both the superstars.

Finn Balor was about to perform Coup De Grace when Gunther pulled his leg. Damian Priest delivered a South of Heaven Chokeslam to Finn and pinned him only to be pulled out by his hair by Gunther. Gunther delivered a power slam to Damian Priest on the steel stairway. He entered the ring, delivered a Folding Powerbomb to Finn, and pinned him to retain his title.

Chelsea Green and Michin for the Inaugural Women’s United States Championship

Michin and Chelsea Green locked horns for the Women’s United States title. Piper Niven was by ringside which was an advantage for Chelsea Green. Michin dominated Chelsea Green but these two stars know each other they countered each other’s move in the beginning.

Piper attacked Michin outside the ring while the referee wasn’t looking. This gave dominance to Chelsea Green. She performed an Uprider on Michin. Michin was quick to gain momentum with two release German suplexes and a tornado DDT.

She missed the trick when she distracted her attention to Piper delivering an Eat Defeat to her outside the ring. She entered the ring only to get a kick and Vanprettier from Chelsea Green. Chelsea Green pinned Michin to become the first WWE Women’s United States Champion.

Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Championship

Both superstars had a great history. Former friends turned enemies when Cody sided with The OTC at Badblood. Kevin vowed that he would turn The American Nightmare into the Canadian Dream at SNME. Kevin attacked Randy with a Piledriver which riled up Cody, who promised to beat the lesson of not using Pile Driver into Kevin Owen.

The match started with both the stars getting on full force attack on each other. Kevin delivered a Swanton powerbomb on cody and mocked Cody’s dad Dusty Rhodes which didn’t go well with “The American Nightmare.”

Cody performed a disaster kick on K.O. but he kicked out of the pin attempt. Kevin Owen took Cody over the announce table but Cody countered with an RKO to Kevin. Cody performed a Cody Cutter on Kevin and climbed the third rope. Kevin countered with a fisherman buster. The crowd went berserk again chanting “This is Awesome”

Cody went for another Cody Cutter but Kevin pushed him. Cody hit the referee Kevin and the referee fell outside the ring. K.O. performed stunner but no one was there to perform the count. The other referee entered the ring but it was too late. Cody kicked out at two.

Rhodes performed a Superkick on Owens who hit the second referee and he too fell outside. Kevin bought a chair from outside but it backfired as the Undisputed Champion performed the third Cody Cutter followed by Cross Rhodes on the chair and pinned Kevin to retain the title.
