Logan Paul asks for a World Heavyweight title shot…. Gets a Superkick instead

Logan Paul made his presence felt in Kansas City on Monday Night Raw on April 28, 2025. Then, Paul being Paul as usual, started bragging about himself and his achievements, including beating “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles at WrestleMania 41. He also criticized the WWE fans at Kansas City for being stupid and not knowing him to be a true legend. Logan Paul also criticized “Main Event” Jey Uso as the World Heavyweight Champion and not being the true legend like he was. Finally he demanded a match for the World Heavyweight title from Jey Uso.

Jey “YEET Master” Uso finally confronted Logan Paul inside the ring. He revealed that he had sacrificed too much to become the champion. Jey Uso had to watch Gunther brutally beatdown his twin, Jimmy Uso. Hence, he is not going to drop his title to a stupid YouTuber like Logan Paul. Logan Paul does not like his opponents very much. He revealed that he will take away the title. Jey Uso will then have an even lesser reign as the World Heavyweight Champion than he did as the Intercontinental Champion. Unfortunately, Jey Uso had had enough of Logan Paul for the night and decided to do something about it. That something was a Superkick to Logan Paul (via WWE on X).

Is Jey Uso vs Logan Paul happening?

Jey Uso and Logan Paul have both teased a World Heavyweight title shot match through their segment on Raw on April 28, 2025. However, WWE is yet to confirm if this match is going to take place at Backlash on May 10, 2025. Notably, Jey Uso is unlikely to lose to Logan Paul at Backlash even if the match happens. He just won it at WrestleMania 41. Hence, the WWE creative time might give him a good reign as he has become very popular with the fans as the “YEET Master”.

That being said, Logan Paul has also achieved a lot in the WWE since his arrival. He has been a former United States Champion. His match against Jey Uso can be expected to happen at some point down the road even if it does not happen at Backlash.
