Jey “YEET” Uso has finally done what set out to do. He vanquished a Goliath in the form of Gunther to become the new World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 41. The “YEET Master” of WWE has also developed himself into a solid singles competitor ever since he separated from the Bloodline.

Jey Uso has also won the WWE Tag Team titles with Cody Rhodes as well as the Intercontinental Champion on his own. However, all that is in the past. It is time for him to focus on being the World Heavyweight Champion that he became. He could see all kids of opponents lining up to take the title from him here onwards. What happened in Jey Uso’s last match?

Jey Uso’s last match was against the former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at WrestleMania Night 1 on April 19, 2025. Notably, this was a rematch as well as a grudge match for “YEET Master” after what “The Ring General” did to his brother Jimmy Uso and made him watch in the earlier weeks.

Throughout the match, Jey Uso brought the fight to Gunther and used up all his rage and aggression against “The Ring General.” Despite suffering the chops from Gunther on his chest, Jey Uso did not give up. Gunther even blasted Jey Uso with the title to put him down and out for good but even that did not work out. Rather the “YEET Master”’s rage and need for revenge made him counter Gunther with a spear, three Uso splashes and finally a sleeper hold of his own as per the WWE official site. Unfortunately all this proved to be too much for “The Ring General” to handle and he had no other choice but to tap out. Jey Uso had done it. He not only became the World Heavyweight Champion but also showed tnat he can comepete with the best talent and should not be taken lightly.

#1 Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has won his WrestleMania 41 Night 1 triple-threat match on April 19, 2025. Moreover, he formed a new partnership with Paul Heyman. Rollins might want to get in the title scenario once again and might come after Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship. The match can also show whether Rollins and Heyman make a good team or not.

#2 Logan Paul

Logan Paul has built himself into an impressive wrestler over the years since his WWE debut. He is also a former champion in the company. He might set his sights to the World Heavyweight Championship next. This can lead to Jey Uso making his first title defense against Logan Paul.

#3 Gunther

Gunther, the former champion might appear and ask Jey Uso for a rematch for the World Heavyweight title.
