Lynx are rolling into this matchup with momentum, while the Aces navigate another test
The Minnesota Lynx are back on top of the WNBA standings after another commanding win, while the Las Vegas Aces continue to fall, this time without a crucial name in their lineup.
The Lynx had a big win against the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday. They opened the game with intent, putting up 34 points to the Sparks’ 15 in a dominant first quarter. Setting the tone early, the Minnesota Lynx kept going at their opponents.
With a comfortable lead, Minnesota rotated freely, giving bench players valuable minutes. And with most starters resting by the second quarter, the Lynx still cruised to a 101-78 win over the Los Angeles Sparks.
