The Indiana Fever are set to welcome the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday, June 17. The Fever will head into the game on the back of three wins in their last six games. In their most-recent fixture, they defeated the reigning champions, New York Liberty 102-88, and brought their nine-game winning streak to an end. The game saw Caitlin Clark returning in action after a five-game injury layoff.

Clark shouldered her team’s scoring responsibility and shone with 32 points, eight rebounds and nine assists. Not only this, but it was also the Fever’s first 100+ point game of this season. Sophie Cunningham also returned after her re-aggravated ankle injury and posted five points and four rebounds.

On the other hand, the Connecticut Sun, who have managed to win only two out of ten games so far this season, went down to the Chicago Sky in their most-recent game. They had Marina Mabrey as their highest scorer with 22 points, five rebounds and three assists. Apart from her, Tina Charles tallied 19 points, six rebounds and one assist for them. The Sun are on the second-bottom spot on the standings and are in dire need of victories as action moves ahead in the WNBA 2025.
