The Chicago Sky and the Washington Mystics are both going through a rough patch. Both have had a troubling season, and the Sky effectively looks out of the playoffs’ equation as of now.

Angel Reese’s side is on a downward spiral with an ongoing eight-game losing streak. The Sky are 2-10 in their last 10 games. Their most recent loss came against the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday night. They struggled across all departments, failing to pose any real challenge.

The Phoenix Mercury defeated the Chicago Sky by 83-67. Kahleah Copper scored a game high 25 points for the winners. While, for the Sky, Kamilla Cardoso scored a double-double with 13 points, and 10 rebounds. Elizabeth Williams scored 15.

The Washington Mystics lost against the Atlanta Dream on Sunday. The home side won the game by 99-83 against the Mystics. Brionna Jones led the way with 23, while Alisha Gray added 22. Kiki Iriafen scored 22, while Shakira Austin and Sonia Citron each scored 16 for the Mystics.
