The Miami Dolphins take a trip up north as they take on their AFC East divisional opponents, the Buffalo Bills. Both teams head into this matchup in contrasting fashion. Buffalo has started the season strong with 2 wins, while Miami has taken the opposite route, losing both of theirs.
We will find out what this game has in store for us on Thursday Night Football (TNF) as both teams get ready to kick off week 3 action.

|---|---|---|
| James Cook any time TD scorer | -175 | -180 |
| Josh Allen 2+ Passing Touchdowns | -158 | -148 |
| Bills to win | -850 | -715 |
Taking the Bills’ running back James Cook as an anytime touchdown scorer seems like a good idea. If we look at his past 18 games, Cook has 19 rushing touchdowns. In 16 regular season games last year, he led the league with 16 touchdowns on the ground, and so far this season, he already has 3 from 2 games.
Josh Allen’s 2+ passing touchdowns also seem very much achievable given the form he is currently in. Moreover, the biggest factor to consider here is how well Allen has played against the Dolphins in his career. In 14 games, he has already thrown 37 touchdowns.
Taking the Bills to win in this game seems like a no-brainer. Both teams are at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of their quality and execution. Furthermore, it is a home game for Buffalo, and that too on a short week. And to make matters worse for Miami, the Bills are 12-2 against them with Allen under center.

As mentioned previously, Buffalo has had a strong start to its season with a come from behind win over the Baltimore Ravens that saw Josh Allen at his best in the fourth quarter.
And if it was all about him in the week 1 victory, it was all about James Cook from the backfield in week 2 against the Jets. Cook ran for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns from 21 carries as the Bills demolished New York.
The Miami Dolphins have become a sad story. Even the likes of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are not enough to lift the Dolphins. They got blown out in the season opener by the Indianapolis Colts of all teams and then lost a back-and-forth contest against the Patriots in week 2.

The way both teams are playing, Buffalo has the upper hand and is rightly so are massive favorite to go 3-0, while the Dolphins fall to 0-3. As the saying goes, that games are not played on paper holds true, but even then, it would take a miracle for Miami to pull off an upset on Thursday.
Josh Allen and company are simply too strong for the Dolphins’ defense, and even if Miami puts up points on the board, stopping the Bills from scoring will be a huge ask.
Our Prediction: Bills to win and cover the spread.
