The Kansas City Chiefs have been on a rampage this NFL season. They cruised through the regular season with a 15-2 record and clinched homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. The Chiefs beat C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs. In the game, Mahomes recorded 177 passing yards, a passing touchdown, and had no interceptions in the game.

Thereafter, The Chiefs advanced to the AFC Championship round and played the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen. Mahomes put up 245 passing yards, two rushing touchdowns, and a passing touchdown to help the Chiefs advance to the Super Bowl. The Bills lost their fourth straight playoff matchup against the Chiefs and so far nobody has had an answer for Kansas.

With Andy Reid and Mahomes’ leadership, every player on the Chiefs’ roster has played their roles perfectly. Whether it’s Pacheco, Hunt, Jones, Mahomes himself, they have all contributed towards the success of this team. The Chiefs were only ranked 16th in total offense but their total defence, which stands at 9th, has helped them tremendously.

What’s surprising is that the Chiefs only scored 30 points in two regular season games but still went 15-2 in the season. The only time, the Chiefs scored above 30 points was in the 2024 AFC championship. We are witnessing one of the best defensive coordinators in Steve Spagnuolo, who has had an answer for every offensive play he’s seen.

The Chiefs are now headed back to the Super Bowl which will be third-straight appearance. They have won back-to-back Super Bowl in 2022 and 2023. If they three-peat this season, the Chiefs could be crowed as the greatest dynasty of all time.
