Super Bowl LIX is officially in the books. We saw the Kansas City Chiefs get annihilated by the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. The score was 40-22 and it was one of the worst losses that Mahomes has had so far in his career. The Eagles absolutely clamped up the Chiefs’ offense and particularly Mahomes. He was sacked 6 times, fumbled the ball once, threw 2 interceptions, including a pick-six. The Chiefs walked into the Super Bowl and must have thought that the Eagles are the same team that they beat in 2022 Super Bowl. However, Nick Sirianni, and Jalen Hurts quite literally said hold my beer. The Chiefs did not have any points up the board until late 3rd quarter, whereas the Eagles were up by 30 plus. Mahomes looked lifeless, Andy Reid looked like he had no idea what hit them, and Steve Spagnuolo seemed like he was coaching the Chiefs for the first time.
There are endless fans who never wanted the Chiefs to win one more but even an NFL player seems to have enjoyed the whooping that the Chiefs got. We’re talking about Ja’Maar Chase who plays as a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals may have gone deep into the playoffs had it not been for their lackluster O-line and their disastrous defence. The Bengals play in the same conference as the Chiefs and Joe Burrow, QB for the Bengals, is one of the few who’s beaten Mahomes in the playoffs.
Every season, Chase is getting better and this year he posted his career best numbers with 1708 receiving yards, 127 receptions, and 17 touchdowns. Even though Chase, Burrow, and Tee Higgins balled out, they still need help for the rest of the group. While the Bengals still have a long way to go, Chase openly mocked the Chiefs and thanked the Eagles for the beatdown they gave the Chiefs. What was the post? Let’s find out.

After the Eagles beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, the entire city of Philadelphia was celebrating and so did Chase by posting an IG story.
The picture tells you everything you need to know and that’s exactly what happened. We never expected a team that was supposed to go in and complete the mission by getting the three-peat, get absolutely annihilated the way the Chiefs were. Since the Super Bowl is the largest sports event in America, many people watched the Chiefs embarrass themselves on National T.V.
We have seen many quarterbacks try and beat the Chiefs in the AFC. However, none have been able to do so expect Tom Brady and Joe Burrow. The Bengals have a solid roster but if their defense can also pick up the pace, the Bengals could reach the Super Bowl again. Cincinnati is patiently waiting for their time and since the Chiefs looked abysmal in the Superbowl, various teams may taken notice on what’s the best way to beat the Chiefs. Will we see another conference finals between Chase and Burrow vs Mahomes and Kelce, next season? We’ll have to wait and watch what both these teams do in the off-season.
