What Time Is The UFC 316 Press Conference? UFC 316: Dvalishvili vs. O’Malley Press Conference Start Time in US and UK, Preview and More

Zaid Quraishi

Get to know the timings of the UFC 316 pre-fight press conference in several countries featuring the main card fighters!

UFC press conferences have become legendary events in their own right, often delivering more entertainment than some actual fights. The tension builds as fighters sit mere feet apart, forced to be civil while cameras roll and journalists ask probing questions designed to stir up drama. It’s a delicate balance between promotion and genuine animosity that sometimes explodes into pure chaos.

UFC 316 press conference promises to be another must-watch spectacle, especially with two title fights on the card and several outspoken personalities ready to make their voices heard. The Prudential Center in Newark will host this free event, giving fans a chance to see their favorite fighters up close before Saturday’s big show with doors opening at 4pm ET.

UFC 316 Pre-Fight Press Conference Preview: What Can Fans Expect?

The most likely fireworks will come from the women’s bantamweight title fight between Julianna Pena and Kayla Harrison. These two have been trading barbs for months, and their mutual dislike seems genuine rather than manufactured for publicity. When Pena starts running her mouth, expect Harrison to fire back with her own brand of calculated trash talk.

Don’t sleep on Patchy Mix bringing some energy to the proceedings either. The former Bellator champion has waited years for his UFC debut and won’t waste this opportunity to make an impression. Bautista is one of the more boring fighters in the division, which gives Mix plenty of ammunition for trash talk.

Joe Pyfer could also add some spice to the event, especially if Kelvin Gastelum decides to engage with him. Pyfer has been riding high, but Gastelum has been in big fights before and won’t be intimidated by the younger fighter’s confidence. Their exchange could get interesting if Pyfer tries to dismiss Gastelum as a washed-up veteran.

Kevin Holland will almost certainly provide entertainment value, as he simply cannot help himself when it comes to talking. Whether he’s addressing his upcoming fight with Vicente Luque or jumping into other conversations, Holland’s personality demands attention.

The main event pairing of Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O’Malley presents the most unpredictable scenario. Their first fight ended without much bad blood, with both fighters showing mutual respect afterward. However, press conferences have a way of changing relationships, especially when championship belts are involved. O’Malley might feel pressured to be more aggressive verbally this time around, while Dvalishvili could decide to match that energy if he feels disrespected!
