The final PPV event of 2025 carried extra significance as the last numbered card under the ESPN era. Fans packed T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas expecting championship drama and memorable moments. UFC 323 delivered both in ways nobody predicted, with one title changing hands through brilliant tactical adjustments and another through heartbreaking misfortune. The night showcased emerging prospects, veteran warriors, and the unpredictable nature of combat sports.
UFC 323 results paint a picture of upsets and excitement converging on one explosive night. The entire card delivered nonstop action from the early prelims through the main event that closed a significant chapter in UFC broadcasting history.
Petr Yan reclaimed the UFC bantamweight championship with a unanimous decision victory over Merab Dvalishvili in the main event. All three judges scored it 49-46, 49-46, and 48-47 for Yan, who made clear adjustments from their first encounter. The challenger came forward and took the fight to the champion from the opening bell. He busted up Dvalishvili and hurt him to the body multiple times, capping off his masterful performance with continued pressure in the fifth round. Yan joined Dominick Cruz and TJ Dillashaw as the third fighter to win the UFC bantamweight title on two different occasions.

Joshua Van became the new flyweight champion in the most unfortunate circumstances possible. Alexandre Pantoja suffered a gruesome arm injury just 26 seconds into their co-main event encounter. Pantoja threw a high kick that Van partially caught, and as the Brazilian champion tried to brace his fall, he suffered what appeared to be a horrific elbow dislocation or break.
