Read ahead to know how the Saudi Arabian GP at Jeddah Corniche Circuit played out tonight!

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025 results are out. Sunday night was exciting for every fan who managed to stay up late in order to enjoy the race. Jeddah Corniche Circuit has not earned its reputation for nought. Fans oversaw the racing action right from the first lap itself. The Saudi Arabian GP had it all. From lap-1 clashes to encounters with the wall, from strategy masterclass to pitstop disasters.

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit gave us the best race of the season yet. It would be an understatement to claim that the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025 results were exciting. The race was a complete package delivering fans with everything they needed for the night. The adrenaline rush that Turns 22 and Turn 27 managed to provide was far superior than anything this weekend.

Nearly every team managed to take some positives out of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend. The pace of the cars and effective pitstops were the dominant factors deciding the outcome of the race. Most of all, the happiest person this race weekend is someone who left the world of Formula 1 a long time ago. Follow us as we journey through a quick overview of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025 results. As this weekend comes to an end, so does the first triple header of Formula 1.

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025 Results

The top-10 finishers from the Saudi Arabian GP 2025 are given below as-

  1. Oscar Piastri
  2. Max Verstappen
  3. Charles Leclerc
  4. Lando Norris
  5. George Russell
  6. Kimi Antonelli
  7. Lewis Hamilton
  8. Carlos Sainz
  9. Alex Albon
  10. Isack Hajdar

Oscar Piastri is the man of the moment today. The celebrations are not at all enough to highlight the achievement he has gained today. Oscar Piastri has become the first Aussie to lead a championship in F1 after 15 years. In a beautiful twist of fate, his manager is the one who led it last time. Mark Webber was the championship favorite and leader in the 2010 F1 season. He was also present in Jeddah to watch his protege claim the glory for himself.

During this weekend, Max Verstappen was more than an underdog. He was still miles off the pace of the McLarens and the other cars on the grid. Yet, he managed to overturn the 5s penalty he had received on lap-1 due to an incident on Turn 1 with Piastri. Verstappen continued to race hard and defended his runner up position in the race without any disturbances. He was also catching up to Piastri in the last few laps. There’s no doubt about the fact that Max Verstappen is redefining the limits of the car he is driving. The Dutchman wasn’t so impressed with his penalty however.

Charles Leclerc has finally broken the podium draught for Ferrari. He collaborated with his team using the strategy to overtake the cars ahead of him. Leclerc did not spend any time at all in overtaking George Russell who was ailing from tyre degradation. He also managed to defend against a raging Lando Norris to secure his team the much-needed podium.

Race as it Went for the Top-10

As mentioned by the commentators, Lando Norris drove like a champion today. He had a disaster in qualifying but he managed to overcome it, tearing through the field using the sheer pace of his car. Norris was also on the hunt for Leclerc’s position but ultimately, he could make the cut. Norris was initially lagging behind while attacking Lewis Hamilton. However, once he got into clean air, he cooled his tyres enough to create a gap between himself and the other drivers for a timely pitstop. Norris bravely salvaged his world championship hopes at Jeddah.

George Russell would be disappointed by the results. He was eyeing a potential win but instead he lost positions to Leclerc and Norris. Russell has pulled an amazing stint on soft tyres in Bahrain. But this week he was unable to manage his tyres properly giving his opponents the advantage in overtakes and overall race pace. George Russell seems to be a long way from his first win this season.

Mercedes had a forgettable weekend with both their drives. Antonelli was overtaken and had no chance against the veterans ahead of him. Same goes for Lewis Hamilton, initally he put up a fight against Norris but he could not sustain it for long. Lewis remained out of the top-5 contention throughout the race. Things weren’t as gloomy for Williams though. They have finally managed to make full use of Carlos Sainz’s potential.

It was a tremendous sight watching him tow along his teammate to escape Isack Hajdar’s onslaught. It will be a day to remember for Williams fans. Isack Hajdar is being noted as one of the star performers of the Red Bull junior team. Hajdar has yet again brought his RB in points and during the last laps, he was a dangerous presence trying to overtake the Williams.

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2025 Results- Rest of the Grid

Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda brought out a safety car by clashing together on the first lap itself. Tsunoda initally limped around in his car but furhter investigation proved he would be unable to race. Gasly was in a strong position but he did not take out his disappointment on Tsunoda and let him go away saying he was not concerned since its a racing incident.

Alonso narrowly missed out on a points finish after a scar encounter with Bortoleto nearly ended his race.

Liam Lawson recieved yet another 10s penalty for gaining advantage off track and ended his weekend on a negative note. He might have won points if not for his penalty. Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon could not do much for Haas as their starting grid did not let them bring in a good fight for track position.

Nico Hulkeberg and Gabriel Bortoleto were once again the losers of the race. Maybe, it was too soon for Kick Sauber to mock Ferrari after one point finish. Lance Stroll was yet again beaten by his teammate in a race weekend which was not at all good for him and his career records.
