The WWE is heading towards its next event called Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, 2025. This time, the show will be taking place in Tampa, Florida, United States. Two matches for the event has already been made official.

John Cena will be making his next appearance at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, 2025. However, the WWE event is yet to complete its full match card which will be revealed over the remaining Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDowns before the event. However, let’s have a look at some of the rumored matches that fans can expect to see at the event.

IYO SKY vs Rhea Ripley

IYO SKY has been serving as the Women’s World Champion in the WWE. She defeated Rhea Ripley in March to do so. Moreover, she successfully retained against Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 41. However, both IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley have been harassed by Roxanne Perez and Giulia, two newcomers from the NXT. The Genius of The Sky and Mami finally banded together on Monday Night Raw to put an end to the two newcomers’ nuisance. Rhea Ripley might ask for a title shot from IYO SKY as a favor for helping against the newcomers from NXT. The Genius of the Sky might agree to this and the two can have a match for the title at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Tiffany Stratton vs Nia Jax

Nia Jax has become the No.1 contender for Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s title. Tiffy Time was at ringside for the match. Naomi however, attacked her as per the WWE official site. She threw Tiffany Stratton at the ring steps. Nia Jax took advantage of this distraction and defeated Jade Cargill to become the No.1 contender for Tiffany Stratton. Notably, Stratton had originally cashsed in on Nia Jax and defeated her to become the WWE Women’s Champion on January 3, 2025. It seems that Tiffy Time and Nia Jax will be seeing each other again at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

John Cena vs R-Truth

John Cena will be appearing at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, 2025. He does not yet have an opponent for the event. The Last Real Champion might start rambling about how no one is courageous enough to face him anymore. Out comes R-Truth and directly challenges his childhood hero for the title. This might become one of the most hilarious matches of the event.
