WWE Saturday Night Main Event: Announced Matches and Results Prediction

Cody Rhodes is set to get his revenge on Kevin Owens at the Saturday Night Main Event

WWE is back with the Saturday Night Main Event after 16 years. The 37th edition of SNME is scheduled to be played at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale, New York. The mega event can be watched live on NBC and Peacock on December 14, 2024, at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT.

The Saturday Night Main Event will feature numerous superstar’s cameos and fearsome battles. Five matches have been decided for the SNME so far. The main event for the SNME would be Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Championship.

We also have a triple threat for the Heavyweight Championship, a singles match for the Women’s World Championship, and a tournament final for the WWE Women’s United States Championship.

Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Championship

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens have been at each other’s throats for quite a while now. The feud started when The American Nightmare sided with Roman Reigns to defeat Solo Sikoa at Bad Blood. K.O. felt betrayed, turned heel against his long-standing ally, and launched an assault on him.

The feud aggravated further when K.O. assaulted American Nightmare’s friend Randy Orton when he tried to stop Cody and Owens from fighting. Kevin Owen then delivered a Pile Driver to The Viper, which took this feud to a no-resolve zone. They are decided to lock horns at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

We predict that The American Knightmare will defeat K.O. and retain his title. We might see the surprising entry of The OTC Roman Reigns or The Final Boss, Dwayne. This might add a new chapter to their rivalry against Cody Rhodes.

Gunther vs. Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight Championship

Once a part of Judgment Day, Damian Priest was betrayed by his former brother Finn Balor which cost him the World Heavyweight title. Damian was stabbed in the back again while he was about to win the Heavyweight Championship back against Gunther.

Damian Priest has tried to take revenge on Finn Balor but the number’s game of Judgment Day always got him. The Ring General also didn’t like the interruption from Finn Balor, so he kicked him in the face. This did not sit well with “Prince” Finn Balor.

Judgment Day has attacked Gunther and Damian Priest on the last WWE RAW episode. The RAW General Manager has announced that the three superstars will battle in a triple-threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

We predict that “The Street King” Damian Priest will finally win his World Heavyweight Title. Goldberg will also return to seek his revenge on Gunther.

Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntyre

Sami Zayn lost a match against Seth Rollins and just before he could realize it, he was clamored by Drew McIntyre. Drew was out of WWE since his match against CM Punk at Hell in a Cell. Drew stated that he didn’t like CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and The Usos siding with Roman Reigns.

He concluded that CM Punk took a bribe from Paul Heyman but Sami, and Usos did it for nothing which is why, he attacked both Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. Sami asked Adam Pearce for a match against Drew McIntyre.

He announced that he would battle it out against Drew McIntyre at SNME and was leaving the Arena when the Scottish psychopath launched another sneak attack on Sami. Their rivalry has spiced up more after this attack.

Our prediction is The Scottish Warrior will win the battle against Sami Zayn and the feud between them will continue to feature in a few upcoming events.

Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship

Iyo Sky won the battle royal to become the #1 contender for the Women’s World Championship. She was part of Team Rhea which defeated Liv Morgan and her team in Women’s WarGames. The Genius of Sky has tried to gain an upper hand on two different occasions.

She was brutally assaulted by Judgment Day’s Raquel and Liv first time before Rhea made the save. She tried to save Dakota Kai from an assault by Pure Fusion after her match against Liv Morgan. Liv took advantage and delivered an Oblivion to Iyo Sky. The two superstars of the women’s roster will fight for the Women’s World Championship.

We predict that Liv Morgan will retain her title owing to help from the Judgment Day. We also predict that Tiffany Stratton will cash in her Money in the Bank on whoever wins the match and become the new Women’s Champion.

Final for WWE Women’s United States Tournament

The tournament started on November 15, 2024, and will get the finalist on Friday Night SmackDown. We currently have four semifinalists Bayley, Chelsea Green, Michin, and Tiffany Stratton. Bayley had to play against Chelsea Green in the Semifinal while Michin was to battle against Miss MITB Tiffany Straton.

Bayley lost his match against Chelsea Green owing to a distraction from Piper Niven while Michin won the battle against Tiffany to seal the final spot. Michin and Chelsea Green will now battle it out for the Women’s United State Championship at SNME.

The tournament final will be played at the SNME. We predict that Michin will win the WWE Women’s United States Title.
