Your Complete Guide to the NHL 4 Nations Face-off: Schedule, Teams, Tickets, and Everything You Need to Know for an Action-Packed Tournament.
The National Hockey League and National Hockey League Players Association announced today that tickets for the 4 Nations Face-Off go on sale until the end of next week. The international tournament will feature teams of NHL players, representing Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States. They will face off in matches to be played in Montreal and Boston.
The tournament will be staged over seven matches during nine days from February 12 to February 20; four matches will be at the Bell Centre in Montreal and three matches, including the final one, at TD Garden in Boston.
Tickets for the four games in Montreal go on sale at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Oct. 29 through Ticketmaster.com, the official ticketing partner of the 4 Nations Face-Off, while supplies last, on a first-come, first-served basis. For the three Boston games, tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 30 through Ticketmaster.com, again with the same conditions.

All games will be played under NHL rules. Teams will play three tournament games in a traditional Round Robin format, whereby, upon the conclusion of the preliminary round, all teams are ranked according to the following points system: regulation win: 3 points; overtime/shootout victory: 2 points; overtime/shootout loss: 1 point; and regulation loss: 0 points. The two teams with the best record throughout the tournament meet in a one-game final.
Bell Centre opened in 1996 and is located in Montreal. It is the home of the Montreal Canadiens. The venue hosted games during the World Cup of Hockey in 1996, in 2004, pre-tournament in 2016 NHL All-Star Weekend 2009, NHL Draft 2009, 2022, and Stanley Cup Final 2021.
TD Garden is home to the Boston Bruins and the NBA’s Boston Celtics. Opened in 1995, it hosted the 1996 NHL All-Star Weekend as well as three Stanley Cup Finals—2011, 2013, 2019—and four NBA Finals—2008, 2010, 2022, 2024.
