Manchester City have secured the most lucrative kit deal in Premier League history by extending their partnership with Puma in a deal worth up to £1 billion. The new agreement will see Puma remain City’s kit manufacturer until at least the 2034/35 season, with the German sportswear giant paying £100 million per year — surpassing all previous league records.

We have extended our partnership with @pumafootball, which began in 2019. This collaboration has delivered breakthrough innovation, cultural moments & commercial success, both on and off the pitch.
This is a partnership built on shared values 🤝
The Puma-Man City collaboration began in the 2019/20 season, with the initial 10-year deal valued at £65 million annually. The renewed contract marks a significant financial uplift, reflecting the club’s dominant performance on the pitch, including multiple league titles and a Champions League triumph.
Ferran Soriano, CEO of City Football Group, hailed the deal, saying:
“We joined forces with Puma with the ambition to challenge ourselves and go beyond the expectations. We have achieved this and more over the last six seasons.”

The record-breaking deal provides a major commercial win for City, especially as they continue to await a ruling from the Premier League regarding the 115 financial charges levied against them in early 2023. The outcome of that investigation could carry serious consequences, ranging from fines to possible points deductions or even expulsion — although a resolution is still some months away.
For Pep Guardiola, who has remained publicly supportive of the club’s executives throughout the investigation, the Puma extension is a sign of continued faith from commercial partners and a boost to the club’s image as they navigate an uncertain period.

While the legal process unfolds, City’s off-field strength continues to mirror their on-field dominance — underlined by this historic commercial partnership, which sets a new benchmark for Premier League clubs.
