The Bulls finally enter rebuild mode
The Bulls come into this game after an 8-point win against the Detroit Pistons behind a 22-point performance by Coby White. They have lost 9 out of the last 12 games, which has derailed their chances of seizing a least a Play-in tournament spot. Now that the team has traded Zach LaVine and hasn’t acquired a star-level player in exchange, the focus is clearly on starting from scratch. The team may also move on from Nikola Vucevic soon too, while it will be interesting how guards Josh Giddey, Coby Whit,e and Lonzo Ball respond to these changes as they will need to take more shots. But there is a chance that one or more of these players also ended up being traded.
Another “going nowhere” season for the Heat.
The Heat enters the contest after a clutch 2-point win against the San Antonio Spurs behind a 30-point, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists outburst by Bam Adebayo. They have won three out of the last four games but a 1-5 record before the current run was a huge hit on their chances to get close to a 55% win rate. They have already entered the post-Jimmy Butler era but would like to have at least some draft capital in exchange for their former franchise face. However, the duo of Tyler Herro and Adebayo is good enough to keep them in playoff contention for this season. But they look like a first-round exit at best right now.

The Bulls must be in chaos after the LaVine trade but they can’t be underestimated because of their dynamic backcourt with the lethal scorer and rebounder Vucevic in the middle. Thus, the Heat will want Bam Adebayo to at least neutralize the center match–up, while Tyler Herro will be hungry to take over against the Bulls guards. At any rate, I’d expect Heat to come on top here, and the total can be around 219-227 points range.

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
