Caitlin Clark has reportedly refused an offer from the NBA to participate in the upcoming All-Star Weekend, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports. Indiana Fever is not interested in participating in the 3-point shootout in San Francisco.
According to Shams Charania, Clark’s representatives at Excel Sports said the Indiana Fever star “will not participate in NBA All-Star special 3-point shootout in San Francisco.”

Sources said Clark is not interested in shooting three-pointers off of a ball rack — considering her practice regimen consists only of catch-and-shoot three-pointers or shots off the dribble — and, unless she is persuaded otherwise, she will decline the invitation.
Last year, fans witnessed a face-off between New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu and Golden State’s Stephen Curry. There were some rumors that Clark may participate in the three-point contest at Chase Center for a second round of the WNBA vs. NBA matchup.
As per the NBA, the 2024 event featuring Sabrina Ionescu and Steph Curry brought the league its highest ratings in four years for All-Star Saturday night programming with 10 million unique viewers. The Warriors superstar tallied 29 points while Ionescu chipped in with 26 points, and fans enjoyed this matchup.
