The UFC has finally succeeded in finding an opponent at UFC 315: Muhammad vs Della Maddalena on May 10, 2025. He was originally scheduled to face off against Joel; “El Fenomeno” Alvarez at the event. Unfortunately, Alvarez has suffered a hand injury, leading him to pull out of the event.

Benoit Saint Denis, however, has no reason to worry about his fight at UFC 315. The UFC has finally got the “God of War” a new opponent at the event. But who is the “God of War” facing at UFC 315? Let’s have a look.

Kyle Prepolec Has Become the New Opponent for Benoit Saint Denis

Kyle Prepolec is notable for being the new opponent for Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 315 as per MMA Fighting. This happened after Saint Denis’ original opponent Joel Alvarez pulled out of their fight due to a hand injury. Notably, both Kyle Prepolec and MMA Pros Pick have placed this news as their official Instagram post. Nicknamed “Killshot”, Kyle Prepolec will be making his return to the UFC for the second time with this fight.

Notably, Kyle Prepolec’s first tenure with the UFC has been very poor. He lost both the fights that he competed in. However, he has rebounded from these losses and is presently on a 4-1 record in his MMA career. He will also be returning to the UFC with a streak of three wins as per MMA Fighting.

Benoit Saint Denis Has Been Criticized for His Choice at UFC 315

Benoit Saint Denis unfortunately, has faced accusations and criticizms for his UFC 315 fight choice. Notably, Mateusz Gamrot apparently was called for a match against Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 315. However, Saint Denis avoided this fight. This led to Gamrot accusing Saint Denis of turning down the short-notice fight via his official X account.
