8 touchdowns and 757 total yards- these were the numbers that Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson accumulated together in the Week 10 Thursday Night Football game last night. A game that was full of ups and downs, the TNF game between the Ravens and the Bengals was the second match-up between the two AFC North teams.
The Baltimore Ravens beat the Cincinnati Bengals in week 10 Thursday Night Football last night. The Bengals were in complete control of the game until Lamar Jackson decided to join the party.
If anyone knows how to flip the script and turn the tables, it is the Ravens’ offense. Great teams find a way to win and that is exactly what the Ravens did during the Thursday Night Football game last night.
The Bengals were having a 14-point game, almost till the third quarter of the game. But Lamar Jackson and co. were about to put on a show for the fans at M&T Bank Stadium. The fans wanted the Ravens to run the ball and that is exactly what they did!
Lamar Jackson led the Ravens’ comeback with 4 touchdowns in 4 consecutive drives, with the first 3 touchdown passes thrown to Derrick Henry, Tylan Wallace and Mark Andrews. The Ravens were up by 7 points but Joe Burrow’s 70 yard pass to Ja’Marr Chase and Evan McPherson’s kick tied the game.
11 plays for a 70 yard drive and the Ravens scored their 4th consecutive touchdown, with Justin Tucker’s PAT making it a 7-point game again. Burrow fired back with another TD pass to Chase but the Bengals decided to go for the two-point conversion. The 2-point pass conversion failed and the Bengals lost their second game to their division rivals.

Up by 14 points in the 3rd quarter, it was a game for the Bengals to win. Burrow threw a TD pass in the last minute to Chase. But Bengals head coach Zac Taylor decided to go for 2-point conversion instead of 1, which ultimately proved to be their undoing. It was quite obvious why Zac Taylor went for this aggressive move. He didn’t want to give Jackson an opportunity to score another touchdown if the game went to OT.
The Ravens QB was having a slow game, with just 71 passing yards in the first half. In the second half of the game, Jackson passed the ball for 219 yards and threw 3 touchdowns. Lamar Jackson is now 10-1 against the Bengals, and 6-1 against Joe Burrow. This is the second time the Ravens have defeated the Bengals this season.
Jackson and Burrow created NFL history by becoming the only 2 QBs to score at least 4 touchdowns each game they played against each other.
Joe Burrow has 820 yards for 9 touchdowns against the Ravens and has been picked just once. But yet, Burrow found himself on the losing side in both the games. Lamar Jackson, on the other hand, has 718 yards to his name with 8 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
The Raven are 7-3 through Week 10 whereas the Bengals slip to 4-6 after this loss to the Ravens.
