The duo joins Sabalenka, Swiatek and Gauff for the tournament between Nov. 1-8, 2025.
The American representation at the 2025 WTA Finals in Riyadh just got stronger, as Madison Keys and Amanda Anisimova booked their spots in the year-end event on Thursday. While the former tasted success at the Australian Open to begin the season, Anisimova reached back-to-back Grand Slam finals in the second half of the year. The duo joins Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff in a star-studded lineup so far.

Amanda Anisimova notched an impressive victory over World No. 8 Jasmine Paolini in the 2025 China Open quarterfinals to book her spot in Riyadh. The 24-year-old saved six break points at 3-4 in the third set to record a 10th consecutive deciding set victory in a row. In the process, she entered her sixth tour-level semifinal of the season – her career-best in a single campaign. The World No. 4 won the Qatar Open WTA-1000 earlier this year, and finished as the runner-up at Wimbledon and the US Open.
On the other hand, Madison Keys is currently dealing with an injury concern. Yet, the powerhouse baseliner had an extremely strong start to her season – confirming her presence at the season ending championships. Although she has been part of the playing field at the WTA Finals before, Keys has yet to cross the group stage. Her prominent results in 2025 include titles at the Australian Open and Adelaide International.
With three Americans already qualifying for the 2025 WTA Finals, there is a high chance of the contingent growing stronger. Currently among the most consistent players on tour, Jessica Pegula is at No. 6 on the Live Race to the WTA Finals. She has 4,209 points to her name, which is set to keep growing after the China Open 2025. The likes of Mirra Andreeva and Elena Rybakina narrowly trail her with 4,189 and 3,751 points respectively.

Just outside the Top-8, Jasmine Paolini and Ekaterina Alexandrova also have an outside chance of qualifying. While the Italian is likely to travel to Riyadh regardless of her singles outcome due to her doubles prowess, Alexandrova is aiming to secure a maiden berth in the WTA Finals. They are currently placed at No. 9 (3,526 points) and No. 10 (3,136 points) in the standings.
