The Three Lions are currently leading Group K in UEFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers with three wins from three matches. This includes their wins against Albania and Latvia and a win against Andorra in their first match of this month. With that, they’ve amassed nine points and topped the standings.
With a successful result against Andorra, England are maintaining a 100 % record to bolster their bid for direct qualification. While top spot earns automatic entry, the second-placed team will face a play-off. So far, they’re holding the fort, sitting at the top of the table.
The Senegal friendly, meanwhile, will offer Tuchel a chance to integrate new talent and fine-tune strategies against strong African opposition. England have entered this international break with clear objectives: maintain their qualifying momentum and evaluate squad depth.
