Now the Jets might have a quarterback issue
Ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the Patriots, the Jets could deal with a quarterback problem since Aaron Rodgers will be limited at practice.
According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, Rodgers is dealing with several injuries : ankle, knee and hamstring.
Regarding the hamstring injury, it might have happened during last Sunday Night Football against Pittsburgh. Aaron Rodgers seems to have mobility issue since then.
The Jets didn’t really need that kind of issue. They are in the middle of a tumultuous season with their head coach already fired. They have acquired Davante Adams in a trade last week to reunite Rodgers with his former receiver back in Green Bay.
Aaron Rodgers’ 2024 season with the New York Jets has been a mixed bag so far.
Through seven games, Rodgers has accumulated 1,663 passing yards with 10 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, giving him a passer rating of 82.2.
He has completed 61.7% of his passes, averaging 237.6 yards per game.
While there have been some standout performances, like a 294-yard, two-touchdown game against the Buffalo Bills, inconsistency and turnovers have been a problem, including three interceptions in a tough loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Additionally, Rodgers has faced significant pressure, being sacked 17 times this season.
