The 2025 Royal Rumble broke all the previous records and became the highest-grossing Royal Rumble ever. All of this was possible due to the presence of superstars like John Cena, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns just to name a few. While many new rivalries started in the 30-Men Royal Rumble, there was one that ended just before the 30-Men Royal Rumble match started.

Cody Rhodes got his much-awaited revenge on Kevin Owen. He delivered an Alabama Slam to the latter through the Ladder and retained his WWE Undisputed title. Kevin Owens has been acting deranged ever since his rivalry started with Cody Rhodes. K.O. performed the banned move on Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night Main Event and left with his Winged Eagle belt.

Cody Rhodes has been the savior of superstars ever since as K.O. has tried to perform Package Piledriver on numerous stars but Cody saved every one of them. The American Nightmare finally punished K.O. but it came at a cost as he also received his share of injuries.

Randy Orton is silent but we feel the storm is brewing

Randy Orton seeks his revenge on Kevin Owens. Randy Orton has been out of WWE since Kevin Owens delivered a banned Package Piledriver to him. Kevin Owens’s persistence to use the banned move started when Cody vowed to punish him for that. Randy Orton was one superstar that everyone missed at the Royal Rumble. The two-time Royal Rumble winner is known for featuring the highest number of PPVs. He however had to miss Royal Rumble owing to a neck injury.

K.O. returned and performed a Package Piledriver to Sami Zayn. Sami Zayn took to X and posted an update on his injury followed by a message for K.O. Kevin Owen responded with a challenge for a match at the 2025 Elimination Chamber. K.O.’s dispute with Cody was resolved at the 2025 Royal Rumble, and his issue with Sami will be settled at the Elimination Chamber.

Sami accepted the challenge and Adam Pearce unwillingly made it an unofficial unsanctioned match. WWE is yet to give an official statement about Randy Orton’s return but it seems his return is imminent and it would be to get his revenge on Kevin. He might return after the Elimination Chamber and beat some sense into the deranged Owens.
