‘What’s Best for Business’- John Cena Declares For The Next WWE PPV In Pursuit of 17th Title

John Cena confident of winning the World Championship 17th time, and thinks it is best for the business.

One of the toughest Royal Rumble concluded on February 1, 2025. Jey Uso surprised everyone by winning the 30-Men Royal Rumble which included the likes of Seth Rollins, CM Punk, John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre just to name a few. Jey Uso eliminated John Cena to win the Royal Rumble. John Cena and Jey Uso tussled on the ring apron for a long time before Cena tried an Attitude Adjustment on the latter.

Jey Uso countered and fell inside the ring pushing Cena off the ring apron to win the match. John Cena entered the ring, hugged Jey, and congratulated him showing true sportsmanship. CM Punk’s was emotional while leaving the arena as his dream to feature at the WrestleMania main event is all but over. John Cena later addressed the media about his future in WWE.

John Cena announced himself for the Elimination Chamber becoming the first wrestler to enter the Mega Event

John Cena in his interview revealed that he had entered the Elimination Chamber. He became the first member of the WWE to join the mega event. John Cena stated that he has always done what’s best for business. He claimed that his being the main event of WrestleMania and winning the championship would be best for business. John was confident that he could win the World Championship for the 17th time. He wants to win the championship 17th time to shake hands with the wrestler who would win 18.

John Cena was heavy-hearted upon being the runner-up at the 2025 Royal Rumble and missing his goal by the slightest margin. He looked good during the Rumble and eliminated Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, and Logan Paul. CM Punk defeated Sami Zayn to become the second member to do so. John Cena has been a loyal servant to WWE for a long time and it is up to WWE to give him the farewell he deserves.
