When is Selection Day 2025?
- Date – Sunday, March 16, 2025
Both men’s and women’s brackets will be revealed on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
What time does Selection Sunday start?
- Men’s March Madness tournament bracket – 6 p.m. ET (CBS)
- Women’s March Madness tournament bracket – 7 p.m. ET (ESPN)
The men’s bracket will be announced at 6 p.m. ET on CBS, followed by the women’s bracket at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
When does March Madness start?
- Men’s March Madness date – Tuesday, March 18 (First Four)
- Thursday, March 20 (First-round)
- Women’s March Madness date – Wednesday, March 19 (First Four)

The 2025 NCAA March Madness tournament officially tips off with the First Four games. The men’s tournament begins on March 18, followed by the women’s tournament on March 19. First-round tips off with the men’s games on March 20, followed by the women’s games on March 21.
