WWE SummerSlam: Naomi Retains Her Women’s World Championship Against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley

Naomi poses a big threat to WWE Roster now after defending her title.

Naomi once again stole victory from Rhea Ripley and retained her title at SummerSlam. Rhea Ripley was a woman possessed and dominated the match during the closing moments of the game. She delivered a Riptide to Iyo Sky from the third rope and would have pinned her, but Naomi rolled her over and held on to her tights and won the match. This was her first title defence.

It was a brutal match to start day 2 of SummerSlam, and all three divas had their moments in the match, but Naomi somehow managed to pin the most brutal women on the planet. Iyo Sky still manages to save her undefeated record against Rhea Ripley. This is now the second time Naomi stole the victory from the jaws of Rhea Ripley.

Rhea Ripley Still Far Away From The Title She Lost After the Elimination Chamber

Rhea Ripley was so close to winning the title back tonight, but could not get past the finishing line again. She could have won the title at WWE Evolution, but just as she was about to pin Iyo Sky, Naomi cashed in her MITB contract and pinned Iyo Sky instead. The same thing happened tonight as well, when Rhea Ripley was about to pin Iyo Sky. Naomi will now defend her title against Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris.

Naomi surprised everyone when she cashed in her MITB contract on Iyo Sky instead of Tiffany Stratton. Her heel turn has proved to be fruitful for her as she rose to glory ever since she turned bad. She became Miss MITB at Money in the Bank and Women’s World Champion at WWE Evolution. She has now defended her title against the likes of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky in a triple threat.
