WWE SmackDown Results: Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre joined forces and attacked Damian Priest

Drew McIntyre's assault on Damian Priest adds fuel to the burning hatred between them.

Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre have been hostile to each other when in close proximity. These two superstars are bringing chaos to one another in every other WWE episode. Their hatred for one another was re-ignited at the Elimination Chamber, where Damian Priest eliminated Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre couldn’t take the loss and delivered a Claymore to Priest after being eliminated, which caused the latter to be eliminated.

Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank on him at WrestleMania XL on Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre had one of the shortest title reigns of 5 minutes and 46 seconds before he lost the title to Priest. Over time, Damian Priest has been one hard pill for Drew to swallow. Damian Priest was the one to eliminate the Scottish Warrior at the Royal Rumble.

The match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest ended with a disqualification.

The match between Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura ended in disqualification due to an interruption from Drew McIntyre. Damian Priest was manhandling Shinsuke Nakamura and setting up for South of Heaven when Drew McIntyre interrupted. He and Drew McIntyre had a physical altercation last week. He was seen searching for Drew McIntyre when he and Shinsuke Nakamura had a verbal altercation that resulted in a match.

Shinsuke Nakamura had a few brief moments of dominance during the match, but Damian Priest was street-smart enough to neutralize any threat. The Archer of Infamy would have easily won the match had Drew not interrupted. Shinsuke Nakamura joined forces with Drew McIntyre and delivered a Kinshasa to Priest. The Scottish Warrior then lay waste to Archer of Infamy and delivered a Claymore, followed by a stomp.

A match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest is inevitable. The burning question is when and where. Will we see them go to war against each other at WrestleMania 41? Time will tell.
