WWE SmackDown Result: Braun Strowman won the match, LA Knight retained the United State Championship on Friday Night SmackDown

Jacob Fatu claimed to go after the United States Championship.

LA Knight has been an emerging star in WWE. He regained his United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura after previously losing it to him. He tried to get his championship back many times but Bloodline 2.0 interrupted the match. His opponent Braun Strowman became the #1 contender by defeating Jacob Fatu via disqualification. Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga’s interruption cost Jacob Fatu the match and the #1 contendership.

Braun Strowman and LA Knight have teamed up to go against the Bloodline 2.0. This was the first time they faced each other one-on-one for the WWE United States Championship. It was the match between LA Knight’s agility and Braun Strowman’s strength. The match however didn’t end as it was expected to.

LA Knight retained his title after Braun Strowman won the match by DQ

Braun Strowman won the match after Jacob Fatu interrupted the match and attacked both LA Knight and Braun Strowman. Jacob Fatu emerged from the crowd and started brutalizing Braun Strowman. He delivered a Samoan Drop to Braun Strowman on the announce table followed by three hip attacks, numerous head butts, and two Over the Moonsault. LA Knight also tried to stop him but was no match to his strength.

LA Knight was no match for Braun, who dominated the match, tossing the megastar around like a rag doll. LA Knight dominated the match for a brief moment after delivering a Bulldog but Braun Strowman possessed the ability to kill the momentum of his opponent in seconds. Braun went for Strowman Express but was interrupted by Jacob Fatu in between with a flying elbow. This forced the referee to disqualify the match.
