WWE SmackDown Result: Braun Strowman fought against Carmelo Hayes to qualify for the #1 contendership for the US Championship

Who will join Jacob Fatu and LA Knight in a triple-threat to decide the #1 contender for the US title?

WWE would wrap up its next big event on the Road to WrestleMania, the Elimination Chamber. Four matches have been announced so far, which include a Men’s and a Women’s Chamber match. We also have an unsanctioned unofficial match between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The star-studded event will feature a tag team match between Trish Stratus and Tiffany vs Nia and Candic LeRae.

WWE has announced three matches to determine three wrestlers who will compete to become the #1 contenders for the United States Championship. Six superstars fought to qualify for the #1 contendership match. The first match resulted in Jacob Fatu scoring a win against Andrade. The second match saw LA Knight defeating Santos Escobar. The third match was scheduled between Braun Strowman and Carmelo Hayes

Carmelo Hayes defeated Braun Strowman via DQ to qualify for the triple-threat for the US title contendership match

Carmelo Hayes defeated Braun Strowman via disqualification to join Jacob Fatu and LA Knight for a triple-threat match for #1 contendership of the US title. This was expected to be the shortest match on Friday Night SmackDown, but the outcome was not what everyone anticipated. Braun Strowman showed Carmelo Hayes was no match to his strength. The One Big SOB dominated the match until there was an interruption from Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa.

Braun Strowman took care of Tama Tonga however, Solo Sikoa struck the Monster Amongst Men with a chair shot, but it didn’t even faze him. Braun Strowman grabbed the chair and delivered a chair shot to Solo Sikoa before tossing the chair into the ring. He entered the ring, where Carmelo Hayes threw a chair at him, and fell down, pretending that Strowman had hit him with it. The referee was convinced and disqualified Braun Strowman.

Carmelo Hayes secured a win, reminiscent of the legendary Eddie Guerrero in the ring. Braun punished Tama Tonga inside the ring and shouted, ” I am coming for you, Solo.
