2025 Elimination Chamber : Will Cody Rhodes surrender his soul to the Final Boss at the Elimination Chamber?

Ashish Negi

Will Cody Rhodes go against Seth Rollins and surrender his soul to the the Final Boss?

Cody Rhodes has been a force to reckon with in WWE. He has seldom been pinned ever since he returned to WWE. It says a lot, considering his opponents during this time included Brock Lesner, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and many more. His rivalry with Roman Reigns ended when he defeated him, became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, and completed his story at WrestleMania XL.

The American Nightmare joined forces with Roman Reigns to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. This didn’t go well with the “Final Boss,” Dwayne and Kevin Owens. The latter attacked Cody Rhodes, and the long-standing rivalry ended at the 2025 Royal Rumble with Cody’s victory over Kevin Owens in a ladder match. The American Nightmare will now face the winner of the 2025 Elimination Chamber at the WrestleMania Main Event.

Cody Rhodes to deny selling his soul to Final Boss, creating a new dispute between them

Cody Rhodes is speculated to deny surrendering his soul to The Rock, prompting the Final Boss to take drastic measures. The “Final Boss” Dwayne asked Cody to become his champion and surrender his soul. He gave American Nightmare the timeline of the Elimination Chamber to make a decision. Cody Rhodes was in a dilemma, while Seth Rollins cautioned him against selling his soul to Dwayne.

Seth Rollins asked Cody not to make him regret all he sacrifices he made to help him become the champion. The offer from The Rock might look tempting, but considering Cody’s hard work to get the crowd behind him, it is highly unlikely that he would turn heel. Cody denying the “Great One’s” offer would be the perfect way to reignite the rivalry between The American Nightmare and Final Boss.
