Kevin Owens's distraction made Cody leave Jimmy between Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu who brutalized him and won the match.

Friday Night Smackdown continued the feud between Bloodline and Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu attacked Jimmy Uso. They were initially trying to ambush Paul Heyman but moved their attention towards Jimy. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga were about to injure Jimmy’s neck when Cody Rhodes entered the ring and threw them out. Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu were getting escorted out of the arena and trying to oppose when LA Knight threw them out of the gate.

Michin vs. Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green had to defend her Women’s United States Championship against Michin. The to-and-fro battle between the two superstars of the women’s division saw some incredible moves and their counters. Piper Niven at the ringside proved to be the deciding factor again. Michin was dominating when she moved her attention to Piper. It gave Chelsea enough window to roll Michin’s cross-body to pin attempt and retain her title.

Los Garzas vs. Pretty Deadly

A verbal dispute between Motor City Machine Gun, Pretty Deadly, and Los Garzas broke out when Motor City Machin Guns blamed them for interrupting their title match against DIY last week. General Manager Nick Aldis officiated a match between Los Garzas and Pretty Deadly. Garzas dominated the match between Los Garzas and Pretty Deadly from the very beginning. A few moments of dominance from Pretty Deadly were not enough to keep them out. Los Garzas won the match without breaking any sweat.

Solo’s Bloodline cost LA Knight again and will now face Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso.

The brutal match between LA Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura went to near stalemate numerous times. Multiple pin attempts and moves from both superstars were not enough to keep the other down. LA Knight seemed prepared this time about Shinsuke’s antics of using an exposed turnbuckle. LA Knight was dominating Shinsuke Nakamura and about to regain his title when Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga interrupted the match. The match between LA Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura ended in disqualification.

Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu were brutalizing the Megastar when Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso made the save. They launched a vicious attack on the New Bloodline members and threw them over the barricade. Nick Aldis was asking the security to escort Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu out of the arena when The American Nightmare asked Nick to let them stay. He asked for a tag team match between Jimmy Uso and Cody Rhodes and Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu. Nick announced that these four will meet for a tag team match at today’s main event.

Motor City Machine Gun vs. A-Town Down Under

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory dominated Motor City Machine Gun for most of the match showing why they were former Tag champs. MCMG had to bear many moves and clutches but they were able to overcome every move and pin attempt. MCMG showed resilience and in-ring awareness to gain dominance and that brief moment of dominance was enough for MCMG to win the match.

Fatal Four Way match between Naomi, Bayley, Bianca Belair, and Nia Jax for #1 contender

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton acknowledged the crowd and stated that she befriended Nia and gained her trust. She called her stupid when Nia Jax entered. Nia, Jax, and, Tiffany were having a verbal spat when Bayley entered. She claimed she wouldn’t have lost the Women’s Championship had Tiffy not helped Nia Jax. Bayley’s promo was interrupted by Bianca Belair and Nia Jax and the four women started to brawl. Tiffany delivered the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to all four women and left the ring.

Nick Aldis announced that these four women would meet for a Fatal Four-way. Nia Jax’s strength proved to be too much for the other three superstars initially. Nia Jax was the obvious threat so the three women ganged up on her. Many Pin attempts were made to near fall but each of them was either kicked out or broken by the interruption from another opponent.

Bianca Belair attempted KOD on Bayley but Candice LeRae held Baliar’s braid. EST pulled her braid and it hit Naomi in her gut. Bayley delivered a Rose Plant to injured Naomi and became the #1 contender for the Women’s Championship. She will face Tiffany Stratton for the title next week.

Kevin Owens proved to be the deciding factor in the Tag Team match between Cody-Jimmy and Fatu-Tonga

The brutal match between Cody Rhodes with Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu with Tama Tonga was match-worthy of a main event. Both teams took turns dominating the match. Jimmy Uso and Cody Rhodes showed great composure and were able to gain momentum after initially losing it. The team of Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu however were not easy to beat.

Cody Rhodes and Jimmy were dominating the match. Cody hit Tama Tonga with a Cody Cutter when Kevin Owens entered the arena. A distracted Cody went after K.O. Jimmy took charge and speared Tama Tonga followed by an Uso Splash and covered Tama. Jacob Fatu pulled Jimmy out of the ring and a Two-on-one assault started.

Jacob Fatu hit Jimmy with Over the Moonsault and won the match. Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes brawled their way back to the arena. Both of them kept fighting until Cody Rhodes drove Kevin Owens through a table.
