The rivalry between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes has grown since they first crossed paths. Former brothers turned enemies are unstoppable when they come close to each other. K.O. performed a Package Piledriver on Cody Rhodes after the latter defeated him at SNME. He also took the Winged Eagle Heavyweight Championship claiming that he is the true champion and the referee robbed him of the win.
Nick Aldis asked K.O. to return the Winged Eagle belt but Cody asked Nick to let him keep it and challenged K.O. for a ladder match. None of them is ready to sign the contract first which is why Nick Aldis announced that Shawn Michaels will be moderating the contract signing.
.@CodyRhodes, @FightOwensFight… We've heard both sides of the story. It's time to make it official.

Jey Uso respectfully asked Gunther for a title opportunity at SNME. Gunther on the other hand mocked Jey Uso calling him a great tag team wrestler but his skills don’t match that of Gunther. The Ring General called him a dork and a WWE Mascot. Jey Uso retaliated stating “Only one of us has featured WrestleMania Main Event and it ain’t Gunther”.

The WWE Intercontinental Championship is one title that has eluded Sheamus in his otherwise renowned career. He came close to winning the title against Gunther but ended up on the losing side. He came close to winning it again at the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames when he was about to pin Bron Breakker but Ludwig interrupted and Bron was able to retain his title.
