WWE Raw started today with Seth Rollins taking the center, along with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman. Explaining to the crowd that he was prepared for CM Punk when he added Bronson Reed to his team. He explained that he is the future because he has the future beside him.

Seth Rollins then announced that he would be part of the Money in the Bank qualification match against Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. He stated that he would win the qualification match for Money in the Bank and then secure the Money in the Bank contract at the event. He told the crowd that he could cash it in anytime, anywhere, and on anyone, claiming that no one would be able to stop him once he held the Money in the Bank contract.

Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Cold

Penta, Dragon Lee, and Chad Gable fought today for the Money in the Bank qualification match. The match featured the lucha magic from Penta and Dragon Lee and the strength of Chad Gable. Chad Gable was dominating the match when he thought assaulting El Hijo would be a good idea while the latter was enjoying the match by the barricade. It wasn’t a good idea, as El Hijo cashed in his opportunity when Chad Gable was on the third rope.

Chad Gable was busted open with a kick to the head. Penta delivered a Mexican Destroyer to Dragon Lee and sent him out of the ring. Chad Gable received a Penta Driver from Penta. Penta pinned Chad Gable and secured the third spot at the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Liv Morgan Loses Her Return Match, Finn Balor is Happy: Who’s At Fault?

Dominic Mysterio is a case study for everyone. She first got Mami, then Liv Morgan, and now something is cooking between him and Roxanne Perez. Liv Morgan returned and caught Dominic off guard. Dominic Mysterio got some explaining to do, and Finn Balor, being the brother, is so happy that Dominic is caught between a rock and a hard place. Liv Morgan later mocked Kairi Sane and got a match against her.

Liv Morgan and Kairi Sane showcased immense skills while countering each other’s moves, but just when Kairi Sane was attempting and high flyer, Roxanne Perez pushed her from the third rope. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez had a verbal dispute outside the ring. While Roxanne pointed out that she is helping, Raquel told her, they don’t need help. Kairi Sane took the opportunity and pinned Liv Morgan inside the ring.

Liv Morgan went backstage, and Finn told her that Roxanne helped her and got an acknowledgement from Dominic Mysterio. Liv Morgan told Raquel Rodriguez that she was a veteran and should have known better before leaving.

Sheamus Always Stand-up to a Bully

Akira Tozawa showed great strength in challenging Rusev, but everyone knew the result of the match already. While Akira Tozawa tried to gain momentum for a few seconds initially. The match ended the moment Rusev got hold of him. Rusev held Tozawa in the Accolade, and it was game over for the latter. Tozawa tapped out, but Rusev didn’t let go, and the referee was unable to break the hold.

Sheamus entered the ring, and Rusev broke the hold immediately. They had a staring contest, and a few words were exchanged before Rusev left the ring.

New Day, New Way to Secure Victory and Retain the Title

New Day had to save their titles against the War Raiders and American Made. War Raider started the war on both teams before the match. The match started, and New Day teamed up with American Made to keep the War Raiders out of the match. Once the threat of the War Raiders was neutralized, they betrayed American Made. Xavier Wood secured the pin, and New Day left with the title.

Jey Uso Vows to Make Gunther Tap Out Again

Gunther interrupted Jey Uso when he was addressing the crowd, and at first, he congratulated him for completing 15 years in WWE. He congratulated Jey on successfully defending his title against Logan Paul, noting that Jey has already defended it more times than Gunther anticipated. He also praised Jey for being there for his friends. He stated that while these are good qualities of a human being, they would not help him defend his title for long.

Gunther claimed that he is not a natural champion, which is why he didn’t know it. He told Jey that all he cared about was him when he was the champion, and that helped him be the champion for 80% of his time in WWE. Jey asked him if he was done, and claimed he was done listening to everyone denying him as champion. He told him that he is defending the title for the people backing him, and he will make him tap out again for them.

Two Divas, Two Challengers, Two Defenders, Two Matches at Money in the Bank

Rhea Ripley, in a video promo, asked everyone to be ready for the brutality she would bring to the ladder match. This is her first ladder match, and she claimed she would do any and everything to get her hands on the MITB briefcase. She also asked Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton to be ready for her when she gets her hands on the MITB contract. Would Mami in the Bank be able to get her hands on the contract.

Becky Lynch got a rematch against Lyra Valkyria at Money in the Bank. She claimed that the latter cost her the championship qualification match. Lyra Valkyria claimed that Becky made it personal. Becky promised her that if she lost, she would never challenge her until she had the title. However, she demanded that Lyra raise her hand if Becky won. Lyra claimed she had no problem raising the hand of a woman better than her, but Becky never was.
