Chad Gable got what he deserved for a long time. He was part of the Money in the Bank qualifier match against Penta and Dragon Lee. All three of them fought hard to get the third spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match after Solo Sikoa and LA Knight. Penta won the match by delivering a Mexican Destroyer to Dragon Lee and a Penta Driver to Chad Gable and pinning the latter.

Al Grande Americano, Chad Gable in the mask, or his acquaintance, whatever you want to call him, has cost Penta a few matches in the past few weeks. Penta got his revenge today. Chad Gable got injured during the match, but not because of the beating he received in the match. So what’s the injury, and who caused it? Let’s find out.

What Happened to Chad Gable?

Chad Gable, during his dominance in the match, attacked El Hijo Del Vikingo, who was standing by the barricade, and enjoying the match as a guest. El Hijo gave it back to him with a kick to the head when Chad Gable when the latter was tried a high flying maneuver from the third rope. The kick not only cost him the match but also busted him open on the head.

The match, being a triple threat, continued as there was no disqualification. Chad Gable was seen bleeding from his head. He would get medical attention and a concussion test backstage. WWE is yet to make an official statement, but Michael Cole was heard saying Chad Gable has been busted open. The injury isn’t bad enough to keep him out for long. We should see him back cheating and competing soon.
