CM Punk qualifies for the Elimination Chamber defeating Sami Zayn in a must-win match.

CM Punk and Sami Zayn have been the face of the company for a long time now. The 2025 Royal Rumble didn’t go well for Sami Zayn. He was eliminated in five minutes thanks to a kick from his friend Jey Uso. CM Punk on the other hand eliminated superstars like Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns before being eliminated by Logan Paul.

Jey Uso won the Royal Rumble to surprise the world and eliminate everyone’s favorite John Cena. He will now face the champion of his choice at WrestleMania Main Event. The other way to Main Event is through the Elimination Chamber. The winner of Elimination Chamber becomes the #1 contender for the title Jey Uso leaves.

CM Punk defeated Sami Zayn to Qualify for the Elimination Chamber

Seth Rollins motivated Sami Zayn before his match and asked him to beat CM Punk. The brutal match between CM Punk and Sami Zayn went to and fro with both superstars trying hard to qualify. The match went to near stalemate numerous times but no one was ready to give in so early. The entire match was filled with moves and counters.

CM Punk tried a Bull Dog but Sami countered it with a Blue Thunderbomb. Sami Zayn delivered an exploder to CM Punk and went for a Helluva Kick. The latter countered it, delivered a GTS to Sami, and pinned him to qualify for the Elimination Chamber. CM Punk mocked Sami Zayn previously that the latter was not at his level but Sami earned his respect. CM Punk shook his hand after the match.

Kevin Owens attacked Sami from behind and delivered a Package Piledriver to him in the closing moments of WWE Raw.
