The WTA event in Queen’s has returned after 52 years.
After two days of intense Round-1 competition, the Round of 16 battles at the 2025 HSBC Championships in Queen’s Club have been confirmed. The likes of Olympic gold medalist Zheng Qinwen, reigning Australian Open champion Madison Keys and Great Britain’s very own ex-US Open winner Emma Raducanu will feature in star-studded action in West London over the next two days.
The WTA event in Queen’s is making a highly anticipated return after 52 years in 2025. The tournament also marks the opening of the Andy Murray Arena – to celebrate a five-time champion on these courts. Murray was present at the opening match on Centre Court between Petra Kvitova and Beatriz Haddad Maia to do the honours himself.

The Round of 16 match-ups will take place over two days, on Wednesday (11 June) and Thursday (12 June). There will be four singles matches and four doubles tussles on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the remaining four singles encounters will take place alongside three women’s doubles quarterfinals on ‘Thriller Thursday’.

Madison Keys will open her account on Wednesday evening at the Queen’s Club Championships. The second seed faces Anastasia Zakharova in the Round of 16. The Russian came through qualifying, before overcoming 2024 Wimbledon semifinalist Donna Vekic in Round-1. Since it is the third match scheduled on Andy Murray Arena, the precise start time is unknown. However, American fans can expect their 30-year-old star to step on court at approximately 03:30 PM Local time.

Top seed Zheng Qinwen is a former Grand Slam finalist, and will be desperate to go one step further at SW19. She received a bye in Round-1, and plays on Thursday afternoon (Timing TBD).
Both Raducanu and Boulter will play their singles Round of 16 on Thursday. As the order of play is not yet confirmed, it is undecided as to what time they will play their respective encounters. However, the duo is also playing women’s doubles together.

The Raducanu/Boulter express will depart on Wednesday afternoon. They won their opening round in straight sets, and are set to face top seeds Routliffe/Kichenok in the quarterfinals. The action begins on Court-1 at 12:00 Noon Local time on Wednesday.
